Message

Today’s world is highly technology driven and various reports and research have

suggested that many jobs that will exist in the near future haven’t been invented

yet. It is expected that we will witness major changes in the near future related to

technological advancements. It will be expected of everyone to know one major

coding language and for getting along with a tech-driven world, it is imperative to

incorporate the mathematical software in mainstream academic curriculum from an

early age to be future-ready. GeoGebra is one such dynamic mathematics software

for all levels of education that brings together geometry, algebra, spreadsheets,

graphing, statistics and calculus in one easy-to-use package.

I am pleased to know that Dept. of Mathematic, R.K.College, Madhubani is

organizing One Week Faculty Development Program on Mathematics Software

“GeoGebra” through remote learning in association with Spoken-Tutorial, IIT,

Bombay.

Message Classical learning of mathematics through Chalkboard, Model, Graph, etc. is now moving rapidly towards the computer-aided software. Many software are now available for specific learning and solving mathematical problems. GeoGebra is a free open source mathematical software that is intended for teaching and learning mathematics and science from primary school to university level. I am happy to know that the Department of Mathematics, R.K. College, Mahbubani is going to organize One Week Faculty Development Program on ‘Mathematical Software GeoGebra’ through Remote Training in collaboration with Spoken-Tutorial, IIT, Mumbai.
