A panel of members of the Turner Construction Team leading the charge for the New York Presbyterian David H. Koch project on York Avenue in NYC will discuss the implementation of Last Planner System at the project and with the subcontractors resulting in attainable milestones, reliable and predicable work flow and a healthier project environment. They will be joined by David MacNeel of OnPoint Lean Consulting who has provided Last System Coaching to the team at New York Presbyterian.

JOSEPH O’CONNOR, Project Executive, Turner ConstructionJoseph was the project’s primary, full-time, day-to-day liaison with the responsibility to orchestrate the actions necessary to achieve the project’s goals. His overarching goal was to lead Turner in establishing and maintaining effective relationship with the entire team including the owner, the design team, consultants, governmental regulatory agencies and all subcontractors. He was ultimately responsible for all operational planning activities as well as safety, quality, schedule and cost.

MARK MERANDA, LEED AP., Project Manager, Turner ConstructionMark provided operational input as estimated, schedules, and project logistics were developed. He also led the day-to-day management team on a full-time basis. His primary responsibilities include management of the projects schedule, budget, and on site operational activities.

DAVID MACNEEL, Lean coach & founder On Point Lean ConsultingDavid started his firm after a 20-year career in field operations with Baker Concrete Construction, an Engineering News Record Top 20 Specialty Contractor.
