Our Primary Work Is Not To…

• Demand certain “rights” of our earthly citizenship, but to provide the provide Christ’s righteousness. • This doesn’t mean we cannot use what privileges we

currently have within our earthly citizenship. Cp. Acts 25:11-12

• This helps us to focus where our energy is best being used to and for the glory of God. Lk. 19:10; Acts 8:1ff

• Rejoice in the Lord, for you have eternal life. Phil. 4:4• Shine for the cause of Christ (rather than sulk at

what is contrary to Christianity)… The world has always been and will always be a dark place. Matt. 5:14

• Be peacemakers (Matt. 5:9) and bring the gospel of peace (Rom. 10:15) to this broken world.
