Summer Term Newsletter (Vol .1) (Third Term 2015/2016 Session)

Our Dear Parents,

It’s really heart-warming to welcome you all to the last but the longest term on the

2015/16 academic calendar, dubbed THE GREAT SUMMER TERM ’16.

We ascribe profound gratitude to the Almighty God for His care

upon us in the midst of current energy crises, inflation and others that col-

lectively affect us all.

Indeed, we shall remain absolutely grateful to you all for your un-

flinching support, co-operation and the positive response you demonstrated

towards school affairs during the Easter Term. These include the Career

day, The Novelty Teaching, The Open Days, The Mystery Guest and The

Easter Egg Hunt.

There is an impressive commitment from Educators to Learners with won-

drous academic and moral/social packages as the term runs.

Obviously, the Easter Term was short. The events and activities for this term are programmed to close up any

deficiency during last term.

The first main activity for this term is the Press Briefing indicating a feedback on

the take- home assignment during Easter break, i.e. on 19th and 20th April.

Pyjamas Day is an intriguing activity to be held on 5th May. It meant for grooming pu-

pils on rest, nap and sleep. All Pre-School children wear pyjamas on that day together with

their educators.

In the stead of Mathematics quiz ‘I’m Smart’ becomes the caption but this time, on dual

segments. This comes up on 10th and 11th May. A message will reach the parents on the

quiz so watch out!

International Mother’s Day, 2016 falls on Sunday, 8th May and Father’s Day on Sun-

day,19th June. We have scheduled Saturday 18th June to jointly celebrate YOU.-Our Fabu-

lous LSS Mothers and Amazing LSS Fathers (including grandmas/Grandpas) on that day.
