WHAT IS COOL

HUNTING?

c ool hunting is defined as the

art and science of predicting

upcoming trends.

Consider that this is a helpful tool

for companies because thanks to

the cool hunters, they can take

advantage and be preparing, so

they can create or develop new

and useful products or services

for the consumers.

However, cool hunters are

useful for companies,

companies can also create new

and revolutionary’s products or

services without knowing what

will be the upcoming trends,

and impose them, like if they

were creating the trend.

New Jelly Toy Watch

The fluro/rainbow color trend is still moving off the RTW catwalks and into accessories with a bang (or should we say a splash?). We're loving this Italian range of watches, amusingly dubbed the "Jelly Toy Watch which comes in

blindingly bright selection of primary and fluro colors, only this time, the latest Toy Watch throws in a jelly-like matching silicone strap.

MATERIAL GIRL

This is the new collection inspired by the 80’s that made Madonna with her daughter Lourdes. This line recapturing that looks for her up-coming Material Girl juniors clothe line for Macy’s.

MSGM NEW ITALIAN LABEL

When you think Italian fashion design, quality and tailoring come to your head and also designers like Armani, Valentino and Versace.

Created by and for a youthful demographic

of under 35, the label has both a men’s and

women’s collection. Blending comfort and

function with a distinctly Italian preppy edge,

the Men’s collection is fresh and modern yet

combines achingly simple pieces together.

The Women’s is more fashion focused with

an emphasis on print and staying current to

the season. Either way, this is one label to

watch as they make their mark on the

international fashion scene.

A new label that epitomizes both has emerged from a 20-year strong lineage. Italian company “Paoloni Group” launched a new label

“MSGM” recently with strong acceptance domestically and internationally with the likes of Harvey Nichols, Joyce, Lane

Crawford, Matches and Browns plus being named as one of the best new emerging designers for Vogue Talents.

HURTS

The British pop duo composed by Adam Anderson and Theo Hutchcraft, two songwriters who met and began a musical relationship online. Thus, even before they met, they were making music together. They formed a pop band, but eventually dissolved, in order to give

life to a new project: Hurts, the true home of Anderson and Hutchcraft, a group that would be able to turn his style and concerns.

Inspired by the dark and synthetic pop of the 80s, Hurts created his own universe: music as spacious as a confidant. His complicated relationship with the current scene, in fact, is the product of a privileged location: a songwriting duo has imposed impartially, without restrictions, accounting for a refreshing sound liberating and emotional.

In 2009 they debuted with a single conqueror: "Wonderful Life." And now, in this 2010, we announced his full album: "Happiness."

INDI POP:

THE DRUMS

The Drums is a band from Brooklyn, but that sounds more like surfing beaches and New York. It consists of Jonathan Pierce, Jacob Graham, Adam Kessler and Connor Hanwick.

To his credit there is only an EP that is as long as good (7 songs) called Summertime!. As indicated by its name, its sound is quite summery and lyrics, is much talk of the station, surf and beaches. That is the main theme of his

hit called Let's Go Surfing. These songs somehow

combine several elements of

the history of pop and rock:

the melodic brilliance of the

60s, the sharp minimalism of

the best years of Factory

Records, everything done by

The Smiths and enough of the

new wave and the college

rock of the 80s.

Belkin's Conserve

Valet

An energy-saving charging station for even the most tech-addicted

environmentalists

by Josh Rubin

Belkin's new Conserve Valet power station presents a simple, energy-efficient way to charge electronic devices. A single platform charges up to four mobile devices at once reducing energy consumption by 75% overall, and the station itself draws zero power when not in use.

As an added measure, the Valet automatically shuts off once all devices have been charged, ensuring that no more energy than necessary is being consumed. Unlike some other charging stations the Belkin accommodates your existing USB cords, which get wrapped around the base for clutter-free storage. The Valet launches in July 2010 and is available on Belkin's website for $40 each.

IPhone Camera

Accessories Five ways to get the most out of shooting photos and video on a mobile

phone

The iPhone 4's new five-megapixel camera and HD video capability makes capturing snapshots and footage on-the-go easier than ever. A bounty of applications and

accessories out there help you get the most from the smartphone's camera functions, but which are the essentials? We picked out a few of our favorites that up the general quality of images and add handy features.

Camera Plus Pro An all-in-one app, Camera Plus Pro includes a

wide range of Tools. The Brust mode allows for rapid-fire shooting (from three up to 15 continuous shots), while the anti-shake, self-timer and zoom features offer the most in

precise shooting. The app also enables tagging and geo-tagging of photos, allowing for easy locating

and organization of libraries in a way that makes the most sense for you. Once

ready, you can also upload photos and videos directly to all your online networks like Facebook and Twitter. From iTunes for $2.

360 Panorama Instead of patching together multiple separate stills for a complete panoramic image, 360 Panorama guides you to take one swoop across the horizon, capturing images as you go.

Though sometimes a little stuttered, the app saves time since there's no longer a need to stitch the photos together

True HDR

Without the ability to adjust shutter speed and aperture, tricky lighting becomes even more challenging on the iPhoneTrue HDR fixes this by allowing you to manipulate the

exposure on two separate photos and then combine them for one fully detailed image with a high dynamic range From iTunes for $2.

Plastic Bullet For fans of the Hipstamatic, the professional color-correction software label Red Giant takes it up a level with their Plastic Bullet app. Also mimicking the

look of shooting with a plastic camera, the app takes a single photo and displays four versions at once, each with a different random filter cast over top of it. Simply tap the refresh button to see even more effects, then either save your favorite to the library or upload it to Facebook or Twitter right from the app. From iTunes for $2.

ZGrip Despite the multitudes of films shot

entirely on the iPhone, quality video is a little harder to come by. One simple way to vastly improve your ability to shoot a steady image, Zacuto—known for their professional camera accessories—makes a series of Zgrip kits that adds a useful handle to the device. Ranging from $70 to $500, the

basic kits give you a pistol grip and the advantage of mounting the phone to a tripod, while the more elaborate versions offer articulation and an arm to mount other essential accessories.

IS IT GOOD TO BE

GREEN?

Now a day there are a lot of people

who cares about the environment, so there are a lot of companies that are changing their production process and other things to become green, because people are willing to pay more for those products that are eco-friendly, than for those that are not.

So companies who are going green they are not only helping with the

environment, they are also becoming more competitive and saving money. A good example of the benefits for being green is Wal-Mart, who went from being one of the most hated companies for exploiting their employees; to be one of the most admired companies for becoming green. Now Wal-Mart besides

being admire they are also the most biggest and profitable company in the US.

CASA SON VIDA - MALLORCA, SPAIN

This may not be your idea of a home but it is bold and fun, and it has certainly attracted wide media attention. The 8,500 square-foot Casa Son Vida is a cooperation between three powerhouses: Luxury residential developer Cosmopolitan Estates, eclectic Dutch designer and founder of Mooi, Marcel Wanders,, and award-winning Los Angeles, Switzerland and Hong Kong-based tecARCHITECTURE.

Casa Son Vida is in fact a reno of a 1960s Mediterranean villa, but it has been turned into an fantastic, sprawling luxury residence, designed to attract the young, discerning and bold, who are confident and design-savvy enough to know what they are looking at. With its retro synthetic vibe, the house clashes happily with its lush surroundings, but the interior, in its white-dominant serenity is much less

startling, although fun and unexpected detail is found in every space. There is absolutely nothing ordinary in this house. Everything is customized, every aspect considered a million times.

Paraty House -Brazil

Elegant, calm, minimalist, clean and beautiful are among the adjectives that can be used to describe almost all of Marcio Kogan’s much-publicized and much-awarded residential masterpieces.

The Paraty House is located on one of the hundreds of islands near the colonial town of Paraty, close to Rio de Janeiro. Before it was completed, Kogan predicted that it was to be his favorite house. Its simple premise is two large drawers pushed into the hill and connected by an internal staircase. Its elegance comes from the seamless link between indoors and out, from the use of native wood, stone and vegetation, and from the minimalist, sweeping vistas that make so many of Kogan’s houses appear as if they were either taking off or recently landed. And although the stacked-boxes style is starting to wear thin as style-du-jour
