Beds PLL and PLB are designed for standard hospital care. They are equipped with an mechanical positioning of the back part and the femoral part of the mattress platform. Their main advantage is the possibility of their configuration to suit specific customer requirements and a wide range of accessories. Beds fully comply with European standard IEC 60601-2-52:2010.

Option to variety colors and motifs of infills.

They provide excellent protection of the patient from falling out of the bed as well as sturdy support during the bed movement. Disinfection and maintenance is very easy thanks to a smooth surface and the design of the boards.

Safe handling of the bed is ensured by a centrally controlled brake. Easy operation by foot pedals accessible from both sides of the bed allows immediate braking in the case of an impending collision. The option of locking wheels for driving in a straight line facilitates handling of the bed.

High-quality bearings and reduced rolling resistance of the medical wheels makes transport and handling of the bed much easier and help the nursing staff. The wheels are made of permanent non-marking material. Plastic wheel covers facilitate cleaning, protect the bearings from dirt and significantly extend their lifetime.

Continuous two-part side rails protect the patient alongside the full length of the bed. A simple folding mechanism allows convenient one-handed operation. To protect the patient from the risk of a fall it is possible to activate the safety lock that prevents accidental folding. Side rails can be set to a non-restrictive position in which they adequately protect the patient from falling out of the bed while not limiting his freedom of movement. Using high quality materials provides sufficient strength and functionality of side rail mechanisms throughout the lifetime of the bed.

Compatibility of the bed with accessories is ensured by universal brackets mounted at the head board or foot board. They allow the use of common accessories such as lifting pole, IV pole, patient lamps or extension set.

Holders provide optimal placement of the mattress when positioning the bed platform and keep the mattress from slipping off the bed.

Width selection offers to customer the opportunity to choose the option that will fully comply with placement of the bed and at the same time provide maximum comfort for the patient.

Positioning of the back and the femoral parts using a gas springs in combination with the mechanical positioning of the calf part offers a wide range of settings of the individual sections of the platform. The nursing staff can easily set individual positions using levers located on both sides of the bed.

Solid and stable construction with the weight capacity up to 200 kg make safe support even for patients with higher body weight. Thanks to the used materials and technologies is ensured long lifetime even when operating with increased load repeatedly.

Safety against interception or wedging of individual body parts of the patient is achieved by fulfilling the European standard IEC 60601-2-52:2010. All PROMA REHA beds achieve complete elimination of pinch points and minimization of gaps within reach of the patient. Raised side rails also protect thea patient from falling out of the bed even when using tall active anti-decubitus mattresses.
