On the irst Sunday of the month almost 13 Leos gathered up for a Yog a Session with Ms. Deepti Somani at her studio, Divine Yoga at 8:30 AM. Ms. Somani has done her masters in Yog a from Bangalore and is currently pursuing her PhD. in the same ield. During the initial conversation with her, she briely told us about the importance of Yoga and how it helps in performing the regular tasks with more alertness and zeal. With that, she also gave us some simple tips on how to keep ourselves energized for the whole day . The session lasted for almost an hour but gave us a memory for a lifetime. Most of the people present had done Yoga earlier in schools or sports events. Reliving those days brought immense pleasure to everyone present. We performed various types of exercises and also did the Surya Namaskar and other asanas including Shavasaan! The earlier one by Mr Boman Moradian was held in September , 2014. This edition focussed on business developmen t and marketing so it was aptly labelled, “Deeksha: Reach the next orbital of business”. It was an open event, so we had 19 guests and 31 club members. It’s always good to start with tea, and if it’s with cookies, it’s a wonderful start. So we had a wonderful starting at 6:30pm. MOC for the night was Leo Sumedh Kela. Leo Karn Thakuria introduced Mr. Murti as “The professor who donated his BMW”. Mr. Murti has an illust rious 24 years experience in educat ion and over 30 years standing in business consultancy . He is on the board of many public l isted companies and is associated with Sun Pharma Ltd, Bank of India, Lee and Muirhead, Humphreys and Glasgow , The Sarabhai Group and many more.
