As a reminder, it is important to follow the Guidelines & Expectations regarding dress code. It seems to be more difficult to follow during warm days. Students are asked to not wear t-shirts depicting inappropriate images or phrases, belly shirts, halter and spaghetti strapped tops or short shorts, mini-skirts, etc. As well, flip flops are not permitted at school as they slip off the feet and are not secure. Please choose sandals and little summer shoes. Thank you for helping your child to make suitable clothing choices for school! Wolf BBQ Fest: Richmond is reaching out to “Young Chefs”. It is your time to BBQ. Join the competition! Fathers’ Day – make it a Family Day! Sunday, June 18, 2017. Jump Rope for Heart: Thank you very much to our families and friends. The pledges reached a grand total of $1545.00. Your contributions are very much appreciated by the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Physical Education Department will receive 10% of the money raised for equipment. Bravo!

Pets on the School Property: We ask that you do not bring pets onto the school property when picking up your child at school, as children react differently when they see a pet and a quick or sudden movement in a crowd could impact the safety of a child (specifically dogs).

Richmond Town Water: The town will be flushing the water section by section. Over the next two weeks we recommend that our students bring a reusable water bottle, as we will be shutting down the water fountains each time there is discoloured water. Water bottles will be available for $1.00 in the cafeteria.

Bicycles at School: Children often wish to ride their bikes to school. For safety reasons, we highly recommend that your child wear a bike helmet. It is important that your child gets off the bike at the edge of the school property and walks to the bike rack. The school is not responsible for the bike. We highly recommend that your child locks the bike as this reduces any unpleasant circumstances. Sincerely, Louise Retchless, Principal
