To form the PP of regular verbs:Take off the infinitive endingAdd the PC ending
-er → -é jouer → joué
-ir → -i finir → fini
-re → -u vendre → vendu

Subject + HV + PP (+rest of sentence)Examples:

The negative (ne…pas) will only go around the HVExample:
Je n’ai pas mangé.
Nous n’avons pas choisi le film.
Example PC conjugation in the negative form:
