When you want to tell someone what the weather is like, there are several
expressions
Il fait beau – It is beautiful, the sun is out.
Il fait bon – It’s nice, warm
Il fait chaud – It’s hot
Il fait frais – It’s chilly, brisk.
Il fait froid – It’s cold.
Il fait mauvais. It’s nasty weather.
