A total of 5 groups participated in the Role

Play Competition. The groups were motivated

and mentored by the tutors of concerned AIs

to give out their best. The group members

discussed the topic chosen and made a

thorough rehearsal. They provided adequate

attention in developing the contents and

making modification after analyzing the

issues from various perspectives.

The discussion I had in my group of

role play was a brainstorming one. We

analysed what could be the possible

answers to a question, before that I

always had one answer to that

question. It was a great learning

Learnings from LEA 2014:

The success of “LEA 2014” at Delhi Region lies in the 5

Ps: Programme, Planning, Promotion, Place, and

Participation. The fact that it managed to bring a large

number of learners from vastly different backgrounds to

come together and prepare a cultural fest, the space and

time made available to the learners made a huge impact on

the success of the programme. Every learner who participated in the event got a certificate of

participation. Apart from different activities learners showcased their talents in the form of singing,

dancing and music.

Challenges Faced/ Suggestions:

• Monitoring was not done .

• This kind of event should be conducted for learners of block-i and block-ii as well.

• Provision should be made for reimbursement of transportation expenditures of the learners.

• Food allowance was not enough

“ NIOS is a school of my dream as

it provides us very good study material from which we can learn

& understand everything easily at

home.……….NIOS opens doors to

a better future for all .” Vinni Rawat
