With today’s technologies, leachate from landfills or mines can be inexpensively treated to prevent harmful contaminants from entering the environment. A BI Pure Water leachate system design begins with a pilot study or water sample. BI Pure Water’s engineering department of wastewater, electrical, and mechanical engineers design a system customized for the leachate source -- usually using a combination of technologies to create the most efficient system.

The treatment system is enclosed in a mobile shipping container – ideal for decentralized or remote towns, subdivisions, oil and gas camps, and mines without waste infrastructure. Inside, the package plant looks like any small treatment plant -- with robust treatment components and control panel in a bright, air tight, long lasting, insulated and mildew free, rodent proof structure. These containerized treatment systems are more resilient in major environmental events such as earthquakes, fire, and flooding. The container is shipped complete, fully tested and ready for install anywhere in the world. BIPW staff are ready to commission and train locals to operate the system. BIPW provides service on call and can monitor the system remotely with an internet connection as well as support the operator.
