PROGRAM INTRODUCTION:Innovation is a tricky word to define. However, one thing remains true, innovations and ideas are not synonymous. In order for an idea to become an innovation, it must be rooted in need and it must be actionable. In this program you will learn about new tools and techniques to search for and encourage innovation in your organization, as well as the skills needed to build a business case and communicate your ideas effectively to ensure implementation.

This seminar is designed to be interactive. As a result, we will introduce and discuss concepts and then apply them through brainstorming, exercises and ideation sessions with the goals of reinforcing approaches for inspiring creativity and innovation in your business. Our goal is for you to walk away with actionable ideas that could be considered for implementation, not put on the shelf for “later.”

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:After attending this program, participants will have learned how to:

• Identify opportunities for innovation in your market

• Prioritize innovation opportunities and resource assignment

• Infuse innovation into your culture

• Utilize tools and techniques to go from ideation to action
