The current state of the Fashion Industry remains to be extremely compe88ve and cut‐throat. In terms of achieving a secured posi8on in the industry, candidates must contribute uniquely in order to stand out among the many who desire the same posi8on. Members of the industry are frequently recycled because there are so many people who want to enter the industry.  There will eternally be a demand for fashion. Clothing and apparel have become a necessity for humankind. It is a business that is ever expanding and thriving.  

I predict that the customer demographics and psychographics that I will cater to will vary greatly. I an8cipate that I will hold many different posi8ons in the industry that cater to many different types of people. The demographics and psychographics are somewhat unpredictable. However, if I had to narrow it down, I would say that I would cater to customers who are fashion oriented, reside in urban loca8ons, and have a disposable income that they like to spend on the finer things life has to offer. Regardless of the type of customer I encounter, I have to remain genuine, confident and secure in my role as a leader. 

The main challenge in the industry is securing a posi8on. As previously men8oned, the industry I plan to enter is extremely cut throat and compe88ve. Many people desire the same posi8on I do, which means I have to stand out from the crowd in order to realize my dreams. Another challenge is remaining focused. As with anything in life, tempta8on is always present. Tempta8on to succumb and act unethically is very relevant in the fashion industry. Other threats include the economy, supply and demand, and the advancement of technology. 

On the job experience is a very desirable trait in members of the fashion industry. Other skills required include communica8on, wri8ng, situa8on analysis, and familiarity with the technology in the industry.   

The fashion industry is made up of hardworking professionals who have worked and crafted their skills over many years. Creativity is at its peak, there is constant room for growth and development, and different views are highly respected and encouraged.

maintaing integrity, honesty and strength. Too often in the fashion industry do people fall victim to peer pressure, temptation, and following the crowd. I plan to emerge as a leader by avoiding all temptation and staying true to myself. It is my belief that there is no greater value then being genuine and trustworthy as a leader.

I want to be known as a successful leader, smart and savvy business woman, and an all around genuine person. I see myself as a communicator. I strive to be open and honest. In a cut-throat and money hungry world, I believe that maintaing an even keeled frame of mind will bring much success as a leader. I also believe that if I remain down to earth try to be a good person, it will earn me respect as a leader.

In leadership roles open communication among leader and followers in crucial. As a democratic leader I will involve followers in setting and achieving goals. This will be achieved by my acting as a mediator for the group, being an effective listener, and providing positive feedback.

I believe that as a leader showing your true colors to your followers is crucial. By leLng my true personality show, I will be able to mo8vate, boost morale, and increase produc8vity. A strong leader cannot rely solely on charisma, so I will combine this leadership style with 

others in order to become an accomplished leader.
