To assure that learners have the fundamentals of geriatric care early in the fellowship, essential concepts in each of the following will be taught during the first six months of the first year:
• Geriatric Syndromes• Geriatric Assessment• Health Promotion & Disease Prevention• Geriatric Psychiatry• Palliative Care• Oral Health
