Club L:edgers, why not take this opportunity to

‘get warmed up and ready for all we’re going to

learn’, in these special ‘Circus Training Challenges’:

1) See which leg you can stand for the longest on without

falling over.

2) Ask someone who you have come with what they have

learnt from the life of Jesus, how we can live for God.

3) How many jokes you can tell in a minute?

4) In one day, how many different people do you see

laughing?

5) Ask someone who you have come with what is one of

the things they’re trying to do differently in life, as they

seek to follow Jesus.

6) Using some rolled up socks, how many you can juggle

and keep in the air at the same time?

At the VilL:dge this year is our fun-filled Club L:edge Circus ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ – a place where there’ll be loads going on! We’ll have stilt-walking, plate-spinning, rope-jumping, hulu-hoop hooping and that’s just for starters!

Here, we’re going to be enjoying our exclusive programme: ‘The Greatest Show on Earth!’ Together, we’ll be:

• Learning from Jesus – finding out what are some of the things we can learn from Jesus’ teachings

• Living for Jesus – thinking about how these can impact our lives, and how we can live for him! There is so much in store, as we look at some of Jesus’ teachings called the Beatitudes and also some stories from the New Testament, helping us to discover how we can be a part of ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ - living for Jesus!!

The fun doesn’t stop there!

That’s right! For those in SL:edge, there’s the brilliant bonus of the evening

programme. Not only will we be learning more great truths from Jesus, but we’ll also be creating some great ideas for how we can live out our lives for him, sharing the Gospel message

with those around us! With more crazy challenges, foam pies and circus fun –

it’s going to be a show not to be missed!

Don’t Miss Out!

Please be aware that there’s going to be some truly awesome activities taking place!

The Club L:edge VilL:edge is brought to you by

Arise Ministries.

Arise Ministries is a partnership of The Girls’ Brigade

England and Wales and Viz-A-Viz Ministries and was set up

with the vision to ‘equip the church to reach a generation’.

This is demonstrated through its passion to help children

to discover Jesus, become his followers and the reality of

children sharing their faith with other children.

The Arise Children’s Team is headed up Ed Jones, Executive

Director of Arise Ministries – and he and the team are really

excited about this summer’s event! They look forward to

meeting you!

So, what exactly do Arise Ministries do when

they’re not at Leading Edge, throwing foam pies

and attempting crazy circus feats in Warwick?

The work of Arise can be summed up under four

headings, helping:

• Children to become disciples of Jesus.

• To pioneer new groups.

• To develop existing children’s ministry to be

more intentionally evangelistic.

• To raise the profile and demonstrate the need

for quality children’s ministry.

Through the tailor-made training and the different

interactive resource materials that have been

produced, Arise Ministries wants to engage

with churches helping them to reach out to

the children in their communities.

Why not get in contact with them to see

how this could work in your situation:
