Function Description
SUMMARY
Define, maintain, measure and improve IT Production processes in an IT
Production perimeter certified ISO/IEC 20000.
Follow-up the execution of these processes, in order to continuously improve
the quality and the efficiency
Streamline & simplify the processes with the Lean methodology to deploy them
end-to-end in cross-departments and across entities within the BNPP Paribas
Group.

Function Description
Detail1: Process Management
The Process Manager supports the Process Owner (PO) on a daily basis for the pragmatic implementation and the run of the Process and ensures the coherency within the Quality Management System (QMS).
He/she ensures that all process activities are being performed:
Knowing: Helping the PO for design, support, coaching, communication, publication… of the Process and related Procedures. He/she plays the role of relay between the PO and the field.
Measuring: With the PO, defining, collecting, reporting, and publishing the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the Process dashboards.
Controlling: Monitoring and analysing the indicators, verifying its operational application within the organisation and suggesting appropriate remediation or improvement actions in partnership with all Stakeholders. This includes the follow-up of the contribution of collection of evidences for the measurement of risks that are linked to the process execution.
Improving: Supporting the PO in the continuous collection of improvement opportunities and related actions and providing the needed input to help the PO to take decisions. This means also leading some of the improvement until the end by using methodologies such as Lean.
The Process Manager prepares and participates to process compliance audits: to control the compliance of actual process execution and report the findings to various stakeholders. Standards in use are the ISO/IEC 20000 standard and internal BNP Paribas Group standards or other requirements from regulatory bodies
The Process manager facilitates process improvement workshops following Lean or other improvement methodologies by identifying quick wins to achieve process compliance.
The Process manager uses general business awareness and strong interpersonal skills; he/she is able to interview key process stakeholders to understand their critical success factors for the processes they are responsible for. He/she analyses existing documentation & data, and process flows to identify pain points and areas of inefficiency and reports monthly to the different governing bodies the relevant KPI’s of his/her processes.
The process manager is a process repository librarian in being responsible in the participation to the development of functional specifications, user acceptance tests, management of improvement initiatives, and in liaising with the support teams on any system or performance issues. As such, he/she is the gatekeeper for all process documentation entering the central repository. All documentation will be reviewed for compliance with BNPP Fortis documentation standards.

Detail 2: Process Simplification Leader & Lean Coach
BNPP Fortis is experimenting a change of culture by using Lean techniques. For this, process improvement coach skills are needed to provide leadership, training, support required to achieve effective performance by improving processes, eliminating wastes and optimizing flow across enterprise. Educate and align employees on lean guiding principles, practices and philosophies of continuous improvement, while being aligned on the Group’s standards. Assist in developing the culture and aligning leadership to accelerate lean progress.
So he/she will:
Provide effective leadership to implement lean IT strategy and manage continuous improvement projects
Guide, coach and train team members and process actors on Lean implementation
Create and perform IT wide training on Lean IT tools, including Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Quality, Problem Solving, SIPOC etc.
Facilitate and manage multiple Lean projects
Facilitate Kaizen events and train/coach/mentor other IT team members in facilitation; and create and audit processes/standards using Lean techniques

Education A bachelor or master degree in science or economy or engineering.

Required knowledge / Experience
Profile
5 years of experience in IT process implementation or another, equivalent
experience
Sound knowledge of IT frameworks (ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000, CMMI, COBIT,
Lean)
Good communication skills
Negotiation skills, having impact (on the level of project management,
influencing people, showing vision, etc.).
Relationship skills / persuasive qualities
Analytical capacities
Good general knowledge and experience of information technology in large
organisations, including technical but also "change" dimensions and adoption of
new practices.
Good general understanding of the financial services (bank & Insurance)
context, especially of the role, potential and criticality of ICT in this sector.
Experience with consultancy and ability to cope with multi-cultural
environments.
Experience with process (re)design and process implementations
Experience with a workflow tool (ARIS Express, Visio) is a plus
Self-organized and natural leadership skills are a plus
Any certification in the above mentioned domains of IT Frameworks are a plus
