Ideas and Worksheet for Term Events/ActivitiesLeadership and Public Speaking Events
• Plan at least three events/activities per term that are about Leadership/Public Speaking. Each
activity helps members to become more confident in these two areas. They can be useful for
years to come. Essential for development of younger members and Line Officers. Keeping
records for the Assembly is also important in ensuring a planned and thought-out term. Included
is the form to fill out and/or use as a reminder. IDEAS: Star, Circle or write below• Invite a person from Toastmaster's, Rotary, or Kiwanis to speak at a meeting.
• Invite a person who is in a leadership roll to speak about keys to leadership success.
• Have a speaker talk about being a mentor• Attend Leadership Camp, District Line Meetings, and Assembly Line meetings.
• Have an assembly goal setting meeting. • Memorize parts for each meeting. Use others to listen to you practice.
• Preside over at least two initiations during term. • Attend ritual training events. Hold practices for ceremonies
• Talk to your Mother Advisor and Grand Deputy for additional ideas or think of your own.]
