ABOUT US

Learn English with apps: the purpose of this project was to make students test and write

about apps that can help them improve their English language skills. The project aimed at

taking advantage of a powerful and engaging learning tool the students smartphone.

Considering the huge amount of apps everywhere, the project wanted to make students test

some of them (chosen by the teachers) for some time and see if they were effective or not.

The final products of this project are 2 digital magazines, logos and some posters. Twinspace

and Google Docs were used by students and teachers, allowing everyone to work in the same

shared files.

I quite liked the application because here we can develop our grammar skills. I will continue to use

POSITIVE ASPECTS

I really like Practise English Grammar. Its very useful and interesting. It has a great variety of

grammar exercises where we can develop our reading and writing skills. It has some courses. The

articles and tests included in course 1 cover 5 lessons and a variety of topics; such as nouns,

adjectives, interrogative words, tenses and many more. It hasnt sound but the graphics are amazing.

It loads quickly. The directions are clear and simple to follow. It hasnt got any advertising. The

method is motivating, very captivating and appealing.

NEGATIVE ASPECTS

Some games are bugged because we get a blank screen when we click play. Most of the courses are

paid.

This application is useful because it teaches grammar and vocabulary, because in order to

understand the sentence I must translate it first. It has a few lessons from the whole grammar and

thanks to game II can learn.

I think that this is a great app, the method is very motivating. This app has good exercises. It loads

quickly but it sometimes crashes. This app has the explanation of the grammatical contents and

exercises to train.

This app also has exercises of speaking, it has videos on grammar, vocabulary, speaking and writing.

The directions are clear and simple to follow. The app is also good to develop our vocabulary skills
