Dear international students at CBSInternational CBS students will have the option of taking a one-week “Danish Crash Course” at CBS from January 16-20, 2017. It will be a week of learning the basic language of your host country and will, at the same time, give you the chance to have fun by getting to know some of your fellow students.
Focus will primarily be on introducing you to Danish language and society: the language you will hear and use in everyday life, when for instance greeting people, shopping, using public transport and visiting attractions in Copenhagen. You will also learn some grammar/syntax and pronunciation. (No ECTS credits).Even before your arrival in Denmark you will be provided with access to a specially designed website, “Jump start”, where you will be able to work online with some aspects of the Danish language.
If you want to learn more Danish, you can register for free Danish classes by IA Sprog at CBS at www.iasprog.dk/cbs. These classes will take place weekly over the semester on CBS Campus, and will start from week 8.
