The Learn to Swim program for school aged chil-dren (from 5 years) offers lessons for stages 1-15. The lessons aim to improve: Water safety Stroke development Personal development Instructors offer each child the opportunity to pro-gress at their own pace and instill confidence in being safe in and around the water. Lessons are held during the school terms, after school hours and on the weekends. School holi-day programs are also available .

The Infant aquatic program is designed for chil-dren from 6 months to 4 years old. The main purpose of these lessons is to introduce children to the aquatic environment. Songs and activities are used to teach children a variety of skills including water entries, floating, breathing and movement with the help of their parents. Lessons are held in the mornings during the school term. Tips for the lesson: Parents are required to be in the water with

their child at all times Swimming nappies with a snug fit around the

legs should be used to avoid any unwanted leakage

Comfortable and lightweight swimwear will help your child learn how to move in the water

We recommend that parents wear a t-shirt to give your child something to hold onto during lessons
