Make it your Own!
The ‘Easy Guide: Training environment checklist’ is designed to help trainers set up a comfortable training environment for participants. The checklist includes items that consider the physical and psychological comfort of your training participants.
When preparing to deliver a training, look over the checklist and use it as a planning guide. Some items on the learning environment checklist may be provided by the training location. It is good practice to communicate with the location in advance to determine what the trainer needs to provide. Use this checklist as a guide.
The physical and psychological comfort of your training participants will influence their readiness to learn. Also, by being as prepared as possible, the trainer is most relaxed and ready to deliver an effective training.
For trainers
As a trainer, your unique understanding of your audience will allow you to proactively create a comfortable learning environment. There are spaces provided in the learning environment checklist that will allow you to customize the checklist to meet your needs.
