We have some parent workshops coming up this term that we would like to invite you along to. They will take place on the following dates: Monday 14 th October – 9am Reading – Whole School Wednesday 16th October - 2.30pm Year 6 - Expectations Every Friday, lost property will be displayed outside the school office for parents to come and find any items that children might have lost during the week. Congratulations to the following children on last week's times table competition. Battle of the Bands winners: Fastest Studio Speed: Jasmine G Most Improved Coins: Callum F Most Improved Accuracy: Eric A Most Improved Correct Answers: Tushanth R Overall Winning Class: Elm Next Wednesday 16th October we are holding ‘Wear it Pink’ day in support of the charity Breast Cancer Now and having a Pink/Red non-uniform day. Money will go towards life-saving breast cancer research and life changing support. This is a fabulous charity and we hope to raise lots of money. Science is everywhere and autumn is a great season to start investigating and exploring. This month,

why don’t you go to the park or investigate in your garden.

Scavenger hunt

Can you find something..…

Crunchy? Round? Cold? Brown? Soft? Bumpy?

Why don't you collect leaves from a garden or the park? Can you find all the different shades to match

a paint colour chart?

Why do some leaves change colour in the autumn and some don’t?

username so that we can accept your follow request.

We have lots of requests we are awaiting confirmation

for. Please note, children will not be accepted.

We are holding a Baked Potato Buffet on Thursday

17th October 2019 for school dinners.

On Monday 4th November from 2:30pm we are

holding a coffee drop in session for parents. It would

be lovely to see as many of you there as possible.

‘Important Dates’ section as lots of news dates and

events have been added.
