Math K-8 Units and Lesson PlansA collection of 1,400 lessons for grades K-8, organized into sequential units. Lessons are designed to take 45 to 55 minutes of whole class instruction and make use of rich tasks, thoughtful practice exercises, and video components to address student understanding, procedural skill and fluency, and application to the real world. Lessons can be used as a full curriculum or as a supplement to existing materials.

Math AssessmentsEach unit ends with an assessment focused on the material covered. Typically consisting of 10 items, each assessment makes use of a variety of item types and is auto-scored. Aligned to the content in the unit, the assessments can be used for both diagnostic and summative purposes.

Content-aligned manipulativesLearnZillion Math Manipulative Kits for grades K-5 supplement our Math K-8 Units and Lesson Plans. The manipulatives offer multiple visual representations of ideas, helping students engage in doing, understanding, and modeling mathematics.

Math Leveled PracticeOver 3,000 downloadable, printable leveled practice sheets provide teachers with three types differentiation: a set for students struggling to grasp the topic, a set for students who have shown understanding but need more practice, and a set for students who are ready to engage with the topic in a more advanced way. By using information gathered through formative assessments, teachers can choose to assign the level of practice that is right for each of their students for hundreds of topics in grades 2-12.

Math Online PracticeOver 100 online practice sets address the skills and fluencies covered in the math standards for grades 2-8. Great for building students’ math skills individually or in small groups, each set includes practice items alongside instructional videos students can use as they work through the items. Students are then given an opportunity to reflect on their progress at the end of each session.

Math Online PD ModulesLearnZillion’s library of professional development modules provides teachers with guidance on successful implementation of the key instructional shifts called for in the new standards. These short, video-based modules support teachers in understanding, planning, and teaching rigorous, standards-based mathematics. Topics covered include Facilitating Balanced Learning in Conceptual Understanding, Fluency and Procedural Skills, and Application; Teacher Moves and Student Moves in Task-Based Lessons for Conceptual Understanding; and Implementing Tasks through Inspiring Productive Struggle in Your Students.
