    MOTIVATION

    For this project our group is motivated by ourHOD MISS POOJA SHARMA MADAM. We havealso seen this project at railway station, shopsetc. And during the discussion about the minor

    project with POOJA MAM she motivate us andallot this project i.e. LED BASED NOTICEBOARD .We all are thankful to MISS POOJASHARMA MADAM & Mr. RAMDAS YADAV SIRfor their step by step efforts, co-operation &guidance by which we all are able to completethis project.

    INTRODUCTION

    The use of the electronic message board has become morewidespread, replacing the poster and white board incommunicating important messages and notices to thestudents. The Electronic message board also compliments

    existing wall LED matrix display board, forcommunicating information and designed specifically toget across messages and information with simplicity andimpact. The text is bold, clear and easily read by studentsor other. it is introduced to communicate enrollment

    information, student notices, important messages, andalso includes announcements about upcoming events,reminders about issues concerning the students, noticeabout school organization meetings and a whole lot moreof things that is of public interest.

    ATMEL 89S52 Microcontroller is used.

    MAXIM 232 Interfacing IC is used. It has ROM of 8 KB.

    It has RAM of 256 BYTES.

    LED display board is of 64x16 LED

    matrix.

    It has total of 1024 LED.

    16 shift Registers are used.

    This project can be made by using followingtwo principles they are as fellow:-

    1. Co-ordinate drives.

    SHIFT REGISTER

    In this project we use shift register. Acc. To this

    concept in a LED matrix the if any pattern of

    data is given to first column and the same

    data is cut and paste to left or right but in any

    one direction, to the next adjacent

    column.Then the data is seems to be moving.
