Lumisheet is the world’s first integrated edge-lit light “panel“. A significant advantage to LumiSheet lies in the production of the Light Guide Plate (LGP). Sourced for its rigidity and light transmission properties, an optical grade PMMA acrylic is etched with multiple grooves using patented 3D V-cutting technology to create a uniform matrix. This etched matrix acts as a vehicle to transport light from the unit’s embedded LEDs across the entire surface of the panel to deliver homogeneous illumination.

3D V-Cutting Technology

3D V-cutting technology ensures that light is evenly re-flected throughout the surface of the acrylic Light Guide Plate (LGP) by making grooves on the LGP at specific in-tervals according to the location of the light source and the direction of irradiation. The vertical V-grooves are widely spaced when they are close to the light source, but narrowly spaced when they are farther away from the light source. The horizontal V-grooves gradually grow wider and deeper as their distance from the light source increases. Therefore, the brightness of the front surface of the LGP is able to remain uniform.

The LED Light Channel, while applying the benefits of the LumiSheet, are specifically designed for direct lighting, decorative lighting, or promotional advertisement at hotels, restaurants, retail stores etc.The light channel combines a 3" wide LumiSheet light panel and a milky white or colored diffuser into a less than 1" thick “U-Channel” made of aluminum extrusion. The standard light lengths are 12", 24", 36", 48" and 60", and can be custom made up to 100". Each light channel comes with two mounting brackets on both ends which make it extremely easy to install.

General Information For Spider Cables


LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty Per iodThe Manufacturer warrants that products manufactured shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation for a period of three (3) years from the date of the original purchase (except power adaptors and dimmers which carry their manufacturer's standard warranty). The exclusive remedy and entire liability under this warranty will be for repair or replacement at Manufacturer’s option. What the warranty does not cover The above warranty shall not apply to product defects resulting from (a) Improper installation or maintenance (b) Misuse, neglect or accident (c) Damage during shipping or unpacking (d) Damage from hazardous environment (e) Use of power adaptor with supply voltages other than that for which it is specified (f) Use of power adaptors not tested and recommended by the manufacturer (g) High voltage surges

(h) Electrostatic discharges (i) Operation outside the product’s specification (j) Failure to follow product instructions.

The warranty is void if products are disassembled, modified, or improperly used or not fully paid within payment terms. The Manufacturer shall not have any obligation to repair or replace product until the purchaser returns defective product to the Manufacturer. Any replacement product may be either new or like-new, and may contain remanufactured parts, equivalent to new in performance. Returned products are subject to inspection and evaluation at the Manufacturer’s facility. The purchaser assumes repair or replacement and shipping cost should the returned products are deemed to be non-defective or deemed to be damaged by the purchaser. Under no circumstances, shall the Manufacturer be responsible for repair or replacement at the purchaser’s facility or at any other installation site at its own cost.

Handl ing and Mounting Instruct ions

1. Do not bend or twist light panel. Bending or twisting can damage LED light source.

2. Do not use adhesive to attach reflective backing sheet to any surface for mounting. It is not designed to support the weight of the LED light panel.

3. Do not glue graphics, laminate, light diffuser or any material to the light panel acrylic surface as adhesives will change light diffusion properties and damage the material.

4. Do not remove the heat sink (aluminum strip on back) from the light panel.

5. Ensure the heat sink is installed in free air or in contact with a metal or thermally conductive surface for heat dissipation and to extend the LED's lifespan.

6. Unless otherwise specified, this product is designed for indoor use only.

7. Use only approved 12VDC power supply with this light panel. All other power supplies may damage LED's and void warranty.
