excellent light quality in a compact modern package.

The cold phosphor technology ensures stable light

output over the life of the fixture, while providing

50% energy saving over low voltage halogen,

expense of light quality. Energy Light underpin this

The Xicato LED Light Engine is an innovative new light source achievedthrough a synergy of:

Thermal Management

Excellent thermal management ensures maximum

efficiency and extended life.

Cold Phosphor

An array of Blue Lumileds Luxeon Rebel chips produce

an intense reliable light source. This blue light is

converted to white via the unique tuning Corrective

Cold Phosphor layer.

Optics

High efficiency reflectors combine with the Xicato

module to produce unprecedented output and

consistency.

Corrective ColdPhosphor Technology

At the centre of the optic are the blue LEDs,

the wavelength of which are individually measured,

to the varying performance of all modern LED chips

vary. A tailored phosphor coated film is then selected

for each module to correct it to the required colour

temperature and colour rendering. This guarantees

the colour consistency to within 2SDCMs over the

life of the module.

The phosphor coating is remote from the LED chips

and runs at up to 60°C less than a standard white chip.

This ensures less than 15% light depreciation over

50000 hours.*

An additional benefit of the cool phosphor temperature

is the ability to produce a ‘True Colour’ CRI 98 option,

unmatched by any other LED technology.
