ERGO-PRIMEWHEN PRIMING CASES, HANDLE AS A LOADED GUN. NEVER POINT AT YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE.

PRIMERS WILL EXPLODE IF SHOCKED OR CRUSHED. WEAR SAFETY GLASSES

AT ALL TIMES WHEN PRIMING OR HANDLING PRIMERS.

WARNING If you feel an increase in pressure on the lever earlier than normal, you have a problem and continued pres-sure may result in a primer detonation. STOP pressing and determine what is causing the early increase in pressure.

It is likely a tipped primer, a military case that does not have its crimp completely removed, or attempting to prime an

    already primed case.

LEAD WARNING Primers contain lead: a substance known to cause birth defects,

reproductive harm and other serious physical injury. Wash hands after exposure.

Store Ergo-Prime laying downwith primers out of the feed rail.

Remove cover. Place primers intray. Shake tray side to side toupright all the primers.

Occasionally lubricate connecting rodwear point using householdmulti-purpose oil.

Tip tool so primers slide away from the toolbody. Be sure no primers remain on the NOPRIMER ZONE. Select proper cover (small orlarge) and hook tray cover as shown. Rotatetowards handle (counterclockwise) makingsure small tab on cover engages the trough.

Install appropriate primer tray and cover(small or large). The tray is marked on thebottom as small or large, and the cover ismarked small or large above the safety glasswarning. Slide the primer tray into the body.

Hold tool at 45 from horizontal; rotate toolclockwise to fill feed rail. Place a deprimed caseinto shell holder. Squeeze lever to seat primer.Primers should be seated flush to slightly belowflush of the case head. Lever will not bottom outand you will quickly be able to feel when primerhas reached home by the increase in pressure

    on lever.

Push down on tray and install appropriateshell holder. Slide tray upward until itcontacts bottom of shell holder.

    Small hands? No problem.

Hold the tool so that your index

finger and arm is pointing at a

45 degree angle to the ground.

    When you squeeze the lever

    with your remaining fingers,

    the pressure builds, and your

    index finger will curl naturally

and comfortably on to the lever.

The Ergo-Prime (patent pending) is designed to greatly

reduce the likelihood of a mass detonation when priming

cases. This is accomplished by remotely locating the mass of

    primers during the priming operation.

A separate elevator pin raises a single primer from the tray

    and presents it for priming.

Our testing of the Ergo Prime and Auto Prime XR tool

continues to demonstrate a huge dierence in primer safety

from brand to brand. Our observation is that the size of the

packaging in which the primers are shipped seems to have

a direct correlation to the probability of mass detonation.

The larger the shipping package, the more likely a mass

    detonation could occur.

    Always wear safety glasses when

    handling primers or priming cases.
