Introduction to WSM…

Walter Schupfer was born and raised in small village outside of Vienna, Australia. He was discovered by Helmut Lung at age 15 after he made his pilgrimage to America where he began his career as an internationally recognized fashion model.

When he has embarked his travel his purpose was to satisfy his wanderlust and journey far from in search of discovering the world of opportunities which had awaited ahead. Schupfer was successful in front of the camera where his interest lay behind it.

Along with his passion towards the photography the strong business man has knocked for the negotiation and talent recognition as well as an intimate exposure to the leaders in the fashion and advertising industries. Walter set his perception on making own im-pact on business of images, brand identity, and marketing.

He had begun WSM in 1995 which he had become the premier creative management company to present internationally known photographers, fashion, hair, make-up, prop stylists, and mixed media artists. His direction and hands-on leadership has been founded offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Paris.

*Thomas Legrand

He studied graphic design at Penninghen School in Paris, and followed with 10 years of Art dictatorship in Paris. He was compelled to switch things up and build his own photographs. Legrand’s aim was to push pictures process further. His forte was sophisticated still like which he thought powerful close ups, angular trajectories, sharp focal points and rich shadowy depths.

Along with the short period of time he had built the close relationships with Dior Beaute, shooting iconic campaigns for the perfumes such as Sauvage, Dior Homme, Dior J’Adore. Other commercial assignments had included L’Oreal Professional, Nina Ricci, and Bloomingdales.

*Jessica Craig-Martin

Jessica Craig-Martin was born in Hanover, New Hemisphere, and lived and worked in New York City. As a photographer who had worked for Vogue and Vanity Fair, among others, Craig Martin had access to the glitz and glamour of well-heeled society. Martin’s photographs are crapped and angled which allowed for an identification of subject’s faces which had transformed the concept of society page party pictures, and its points towards the baubles, plumage, and telling the details which provided the commentary on society’s obsession on the surface.

Her reportage and fashion stories were featured in Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, BIG, Self-service index, i-D, Harper’s Bazaar, Paper and various international Vogues.

Clients include Kate Spade, Saks Fifth Avenue, Aldo, Hogan, Piaget, Remy Martin, Schweppes, Ion Schrager Group, HP, Microsoft, Target, and H&M.

Exhibitions included the solo shows at PSI / MOMA (New York), Colette (Paris), Fiction Inc. (Tokyo), Dorothee de Pauw Gallery (Brussels), Galleria Maze (Turin), The Fringe Club (Hong Kong ), and Mau-reen Paley Interim Art (London).

Contributions to the group include Saatchi Collection (London), Sentimental Education, Super-predators / CRP (New York), Innuendo / Dee Glasoe (New York ), and from Studio 54 to Cannes 2000 / Lawrence Rubin Greenberg Van Doren Fine Art ( New York).

*Emmanuelle HanguelShe is the photographer and director Emmanuelle “Emmo” Hanguel which had derived from Paris, where she had graduated from the Penninghen School, and studied at the Patson’s School of Design in New York.

After her graduation, Parisian fashion house Kookai commissioned her for the shoot for the campaigns. An editorial opportunities with Conde Nast, French Elle and Marie Claire were soon followed. She had made her directorial debut in 2000 while maintaining her sensual and feminine sensibility between still and mov-ing pictures. As a director she has worked with Dannon and Ushuaia, and collaborated with L’Oreal and Maybelline. *She divided her time between Paris and New York shooting for prestigious clients such as Garnier, Clarins, Sony Music, Playtex, and Victoria’s Secret.

He lives and works in NYC where he is equally at home in Los Angeles, where he does a lot for his celebrity based work. He’s trusted and respected by celebrities and their publications where he has an undisputable talent to make the beautiful people even more. He has been advertised in People’s magazine’s choice for an annual “Not a drop of make-up to feature his shining’s stunning” natural portraits of high profiles stars such as Dew Barrymore and Taylor shift. He also has been credited for many people’s “World’s sexiest…” cover stories. Also, he works with world’s hottest and most recognizable entertainers from Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lopez, Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, Hugh Jackman, and Cameron Diaz, for magazines like Vogue USA, In style, W, Vanity Fair, Lucky, Self and Rolling Stone. Billy has traveled many times across the country to be settled in Arizona, where he grew up. The desert has helped him to shape his way of seeing the light and color. He was influenced by Man Ray, Andre Kertesz, Jacques-Andre Boiffard, and Helen Levitt. He had taught him-self the photography and decided to move to New York where he started to work on day-light portraits. Through this experience Billy has developed an unique ability to direct mod-els and allow the model to be truly expressive.
