In Spain, two norms regulate undergraduate and postgraduate studies:

REAL DECRETO 55/2005, de 21 de enero, for which the structure of the university teachings settles down and the official university studies of Grade are regulated (BOE 25-01-05)

REAL DECRETO 56/2005, de 21 de enero, for which the official university studies of Post-Grade are regulated (BOE 25-01-05)

Master in Computers and Law


• Organized by the Faculty of Law, University of Zaragoza (Spain)

• Given in collaboration with Institutes, Research and Development Centres and experts located in other European countries

• It facilitated students to obtain the Diploma European Legal Universities Informatics Studies (EULISP), carrying out their formation in two different languages and countries



Main goals:

• To give the necessary tools to know how to solve juridical problems related with the use of the ICT in a context characterized by the globalization of the social relationships

• To identify the necessities of the companies in view of the challenges outlined by the peak of the information and telecommunications systems

• To give knowledge and practices on the regulation and use of the ICT that allow to those who obtain it to exercise their profession in the information society having the most appropriate resources

LEFIS Master in Legal issues in the Information Society


Organized by:

• All the LEFIS members

• Students should study each semester in a different University among the LEFIS Network members

Objectives:

• To prepare graduates in Business Administration, Law and Public Administration to face with the legal issues of the information society, identify and solve them



Learning outcomes:

• The basic technical characteristics of the information society

• The normative on data protection

• The digital signature mechanisms, their uses and legal validity

• The specific crimes of the information and communication technologies environment and their penalization



Learning outcomes (cont.):

• The specific characteristics of electronic business, the responsibility and the validity in the recruiting with those means

• The repercussions of the information and communication technologies in the public administration operations

• The mechanisms of dispute resolution in the information and communication technologies environment



Generic competences:

• To use the basic characteristic tools of the information society: computer, internet, software, etc.

• To connect a device to internet

• To find information in internet



Specific competences:

• To adapt the information system of an organization to the normative on data protection

• To use the digital signature mechanisms

• To identify the specific crimes of the information and communication technologies environment and their penalization



Specific competences (cont.):

• To make electronic business in a safe way and fitted into the law-order

• To use the online public administration services

• To use mechanisms of dispute resolution in the information and communication technologies environment
