Market research

Extensive market research was done and has conrmed the opportunity and value proposition associated with the development of a national private burial footprint. There is a distinct unfullled need for safe and more appealing places of remembrance.

Why Legacy?

Apart from being privately-owned and operated, Legacy Parks will be unlike any cemetery offering in South Africa and will combine unique and innovative elements of memorialisation, conservation and safe visitation to promote comfort for those left behind in an environment where the concept of legacy is a central design element.

The Legacy of Remembrance

Legacy Parks assists individuals and families to preserve the legacy of a loved one who has passed away. At every point of ones experience with Legacy Parks, utmost respect and care is given to the memory of the loved one. Whether it be the natural landscaping designed to improve with time, the technologies used to capture and forever store important moments, or even the nancial model designed to last into perpetuity. Every detail about Legacy Parks is designed to show that the memory is as important to us, as it is to

Legacy Parks Backed by an Experienced Entrepreneurial Team

The founders of Legacy Parks bring extensive entrepreneurial and executive management experience and successes to the business. Willie Fouché has experience in leading major corporate enterprises having taken them through the various stages of development and sustainable growth.

Low Impact Development

Burial sites are characterised by low impact development. Timber, stone and other natural materials will be used. The heritage of existing buildings, facilities and sites will be restored and preserved thus incorporating and augmenting existing and natural beauty. There will be no protruding headstones or grave markers. Cremated remains can be buried, too. Ash scattering forms part of the offering allowing the family to plant a tree and / or position a remembrance plaque (or bench) on the site.

our customers.

The Legacy of Conservation

A natural burial is amongst

other things, a conservation tool

to create, restore and protect

urban green spaces. There are

no marble monuments or

wrought-iron gates in sight.

It is a nature reserve first.
