+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Introduction and how to use this FAQ | IDXA000 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+I always try to write my walktroughs that way that you only have to use themwhen you are hopelessly stuck in a game. This makes I may make often referencesto other parts of the FAQ, as I assume you use this FAQ that way, and are notplaying this game with this file constantly beside you.

To make this FAQ easy to look things up in, all sections of the game have beengiven a IDX code. Look the section you are at up in the index, open a searchwindow (Ctrl-F in Windows and Linux, Apple-F in MacOS X) and type over theIDX code and let the computer search to find the right section.

Dungeons may have multiple rooms. Each time a new room is there, I'll startthe line with a "-", and I use "=" as a sum up character if a room has multiple actions.

Next, I know it's obvious, but you can change the characters names. It'll bea lot easier to use my FAQ (or those of my fellow FAQ-writes) if you leavethe names to their default settings. In this FAQ I use the default names.

At the start of each section or boss fights you see my characters and a numberbehind it. Those numbers are MY levels. No recommendations of any sort. Whenyou never played an RPG game before I recommend that you are higher than Iwas. When you are an expert RPG player forget that I noted those levels inthe first place. (And save yourself the trouble complaining that my levelsare too low. Levelling up is for wheenies and sissies, or for those who neverplayed an RPG game before. I like a challenging game, not to bore myself todeath with hanging around in the same location just to get certain levels. The game is easy enough to beat with low levels).

Then one note on Seru monsters. Once your character has a Ra-Seru he/she canabsorb Seru enemies. This is a matter of luck, and requires that you beat anenemy without using magic. I hardly use those seru spells you acquire withthat, I only recommend to absorb Vera, Orb and Spoon and only use your magicon summoning those. The rest of the Serus are just a waste of magic, if youabsorb them, very nice, if you don't, then don't go crazy to get them. Ok?

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru Elements | IDXA001 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+At the start of each dungeon, I'll note which serus you can find (if theyare available). With that I also use a letter to indicate which element theyare.D = DarknessE = EarthF = FireI = Ice/WaterL = Light

Page 3: Legend of Legai Game Guide

T = ThunderW = Wind

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Characters | IDXB000 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+You only have three characters during this game:

*** Vahn Hero of the story Ra-Seru: Meta - Fire Good: Average Bad: Nothing in particular

*** Noa Girl brought up by a wolf. Overexcited but she means well. Ra-Seru: Terra - Wind (very odd name for a wind being, I know) Good: Extremely fast, and can make huge combo's in one turn Bad: Weak, and arts require a lot of hits

*** Gala Warrior monk of the Biron teachings. Ra-Seru: Ozma - Thunder Good: Strong and good defense Bad: Extremely slow

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Walkthrough | IDXC000 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+The game starts with the character Vahn in Rim Elm at the Genisis Tree.Good luck.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Rim Elm | IDXC001 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 1 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru: (F) Gimard |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+This is a pretty long section for the start already. I'll cut it in sub-sections if you don't mind

Start: Leave the Genisis tree and go up the stairs. You'll meet the girl Mei. She's making hunter clothes for you and wants tomeasure you again. Agree to be measured again. After the chat Mei will go toyour house. You should go there yourself. The house is south-east of townjust north of the beach. Once inside Mei will do her measuring work. Open the cubboard to get a healing leaf. Leave the house.Go to the beach. Here you'll meet a Biron Monk named Tetsu. Ask him topractise together. Now you'll get in a fight. This fight is nothing seriousonly a tutorial in which Tetsu will teach you how the fighting system of thisgame works (which is quite unique and worth mentioning).

The hunters return:After your training sessions the hunters will come back from the hunt.Things are pretty terrible. After a lot of talk you'll be at Mei's homeLeave Mei's home. Go to your own home and talk to your dad (Val). He asksif you wanna rest. Say "yes".

Page 4: Legend of Legai Game Guide

Mist in town:Things are getting strange. Your father wakes you up and asks to check onthe wall. Say "yes". Leave your home. Go to the wall and talk to the elder. Now Zeto will appear and unleash a huge monster (you'll get to know what kind of monster that is later) and destroy the wall. Zeto and the monster willleave but the village will be filled with mist with all the concequences thatare tied to that. After that you'll get your first battle with a Gimard. Thisbattle is easy, so doncha worry. After that go to the Genisis Tree. Examine the genisis tree and you'll meet the Ra-Seru Meta. It will ask if youwant to save the people from the mist. Say "yes". Now Meta will propose inworking together. Accept this proposal. After that Meta will attach itselfto Vahn's body. Now leave the Genisis Tree and go back into town.Go into your house. Talk to Val. After that all the village people willgather around the tree. Together everybody will revive the first Genisis Treeof the many that are going to follow in this game. After all this there will be a funeral for the victims of this incident.

Time to leave:The elder will ask you to look for Mei's mom who may still be at BironMonastery. Accept this request. Before worring about that you'll have othermissions first. When you leave the city, Mei will come and give you the Hunter Clothes.

After going to the worldmap, I recommend that you go back to townand go to the top floor of the store. You will find a point card in thedrawer beside the bed. That item is very valuable and when used in certainbattles it can be the best key to victory. Only use it when I recommend youto.

Then back on the worldmap. This is gonna be long and boring, but it ISneeded to get acros the first dungeons (alas). Try to save up some money toso you can buy healing leafs, and make sure you got 10 or so before proceedingto the next spot.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Hunter's Spring | IDXC002 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 4 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Follow the road from Rim Elm to find it at the north of the road |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+Upon arrival some people will talk to you. They'll point to a man named Lezam.Talk to him. Say "Tell me why you are so grateful". He'll ask you to saveDrake Kingdom. Say "Yes". After the talk head for Drake Kingdom.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Drake Kingdom | IDXC003 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 4 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru: (F) Gimard |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| From the Hunter's Spring follow the road north and west. You'll find the || kingdom at the end of the road |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+You'll find this place completely engulfed in the mist. So I'm afraid theking will be unavailable for awhile.

Page 5: Legend of Legai Game Guide

- Go north and enter the castle- Go up the stairs then west and take the door there- Examine the glittering and you'll find a case with the "Sunrise key". Open that case and take the key. Exit south- Go east to the middle door and exit through it- Go up the stairs and exit north- Go east and take the exit south at the end- There is a case next to the door, open it to get the "Lightning Key" Exit north- Open the northdoor and exit north- Go up the stairs and exit north- Go east and exit south- Open the cast next to the door for the "Star Key" and exit north- Open the north door and exit north- Go up the stairs and exit north- Go west and exit south- Go east and take the first door north- Go north and exit north through the left door- The seru-monster in the cage is King Drake. When you open the chest you'll find a note in which the situation here is explained. At the northwall is a case. Open it to get the mountain key and exit south. (there's nothing you can do for the king right now).- Take the door on the right side of the throne- Meta will suggest to take a rest. Do so. During your sleep Meta will appear in your dream and explain a few things. After the rest open the chest for the "Fire Book I". With that book you can perform your first Hyper Art. Read it to learn "Tornado Flame". Exit south- Go south, exit south- Go east, exit north- Go to the north door and open it with the mountain key. Exit north

Now this dungeon is completed. Let's go to the next dungeon.Just follow the road to get there, however upon your arrival the game willimmediatly switch to Noa who is elsewhere on the world now.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Snowdrift Cave | IDXC004 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Noa 1 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru: (L) Theeder |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+- Go to the northeast where Terra is waiting for you. Exit north-east- = Go north = Around the corner west = At the end north = Terra will ask you a question The correct answers is: Seru and human = Go north = East = Terra will ask you another question. The correct answer is: A Genesis Tree = Keep going east (you may pick op some healing shrooms that you can find here). = At the end go south = Terra will ask you one last question.

Page 6: Legend of Legai Game Guide

The correct answer is: Mt. Rikuroa (4th answer) = Go south = Exit south- Terra will now let you train with the monsters. I advise to only train with the red monsters. After Noa gained a level you may want to train with the black ones as well. You must gain 1 level in order to proceed in the game, after that you may choose to gain another level. Once you defeat all piuras you have to proceed to the next part of the game. You can talk to Terra to recover all HP or to proceed.- = Go north until you find Terra. On this moment the mist enters the cave and now there'll be monsters here. = Go east = At the end go south = At the end go east = Around the corner south = Exit south- Terra will call you After the chat exit north-west (Terra will join as party member, though you can't control him/her(?), he/she can sometimes help you. When you are low in HP, Terra will always heal you. Good to know, eh?)- Follow the corridor and exit south

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Mt. Rikuroa | IDXC005 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Noa 4 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru: (L) Vera |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Just go south from Snowdrift cave |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+You start this dungeon with Noa, during the mission the game will switch toVahn, and you end this mission together.

- Just follow the road Save the game if you need and enter the cave- Go east and some rocks will come down. Continue your way and the way behind you will be blocked by falling rocks. (Noa can still jump over it though, but since you no longer need to be there don't bother). The rest of the road, is just a matter of following, no big deal. Do so until the end of this room (halfaway terra will come with more blah blah). At the end of the road you'll meet a golem. Kill it and you'll east. That golem is easy so just hit the shit out of it, when you get low in HP Terra will heal you, so losing this battle ain't very likely.- The cave you came from will collapse. No way back, but you don't need to go there anyway. After a lot of important stuff Terra has to tell you you can continue your way. Follow the way east and exit east into the next cave.- Go east, save your game and exit east

You'll reach the Genesis Tree. Zeto will appear and cause some trouble, butbefore getting into that the game will switch to Vahn.

IMPORTANT NOTE!Make sure Vahn absorbs the Seru Vera. You'll need it pretty bad. Most likelyin this dungeon already.

Page 7: Legend of Legai Game Guide

- Open the gate and follow the road to the end- Go north and jump your way up (you'll jump automaticly when you go to the mountain). Go into the cave at the end- At the end of the road go left (right leads to treasure) Exit south at the end of the road- Jump your way up and go into the higher cave- Go north, exit north- You'll see Noa in trouble in the distance. Save your game and make sure you are at full HP and go to Noa.

Now Vahn and Noa will team up and together you gotta fight the first boss. _________| Boss 1 \+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Caruban |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 6 | Noa 6 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Difficulty: Medium |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Preperations: Vahn should have Vera |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Use your best arts against it to do the most of damage. Be prepared it || also deal some damage to you. Especially Noa (who has no longer Terra by || her side) is easily hurt. Vahn can heal by casting "Vera", but keep in || mind that Vahn is pretty slow and that can cost you. Beware of its || "Fire Breath". It can hurt you both, and pretty bad. |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+Go to the Genesis Tree and examine it to revive it.Now Noa will ask to travel with you. Say "Yes" (The game won't take "no" foran answer).

Save your game and exit south.

- Go south, exit south- Jump you way down and go into the cave- = Go north = Around the corner east = First way south = Exit south- Go south and jump your way down the mountain Exit south- Go south, exit south

Go back to Drake Castle

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Drake castle - Mist is gone | IDXC006 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 7 | Noa 7 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+Upon your arrival you'll meet the king. He wants to know if you are the ones who drove away the mist. Say "Yes".Later in the throne room, you'll tell the king what happened. The king willgive you the Water Key. With that you can close the water gate which willmake you able to reach Biron Monastery.

The room behind the right door is the bedroom. You can rest there.Noa may get a dream in which she receives a message from her mother. This

Page 8: Legend of Legai Game Guide

will happen quite often during rests, so don't be alarmed by that, and I won't note it in this FAQ any more.

Leave the throne room south, then go through a door either west or eastFrom there the middle door south and go all the way south, until you end upon a small market in front of the castle.

Noa will go overexcited (that won't be the last time). Whatever you say, Noawill go over the market and ask anything and everything to the people here.Follow her and talk to her wherever she goes. At one of the stands Noa will learn things and ask you questions about that.Doesn't matter if you answer them right or wrong. After the 3rd stand Noawill quit going around the market and rejoin. You can buy new supplies now,not a bad idea. After that exit south to end up on the world map.

Go easst and you'll see the waterway. Use the device to close it.Open the chest that was underwater to find Wind Book I. Use it on Noa tolearn the "Frost Breath" Hyper Art.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Biron Monastery | IDXC007 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 7 | Noa 7 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| After you opened the waterway head east from Drake Castle. | | Some cave of which the entrance is on a bridge above the river is the || place you gotta go to. |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+- Go north and use the switch. The door out will close, some fans will blow out the mist and the door in will open. A biron monk will come and invite you to come in. Exit north- Here you will meet Zopu, Gala (aka Master Teacher) and Songi. As you know Gala will join you as a party member but that comes later. You should pay attention to Songi as he will be quite a nuisance going to bug you lots of times during the game. I don't know if you will like him. Mostly he can't say one sentence without at least one offensive word. After these introductions exit north- Examine the monument to get a Power Elixir. Go west and a woman will appear and speak with you. This is Maya, Mei's mother. After your talk exit north- The left door north leads to a room where you can rest. The right door is restricted for man, but you can allow Noa to enter in order to speak with Maya. The middle door leads to the dining room. But you got no business there yet. Take one of the two middle exits south (doesn't matter which one)- Go up the stais and take the door between the two other stairs- Talk to Zopu. When he asks if you listened to all the people he'll invite you to the party. You'll automaticly end up in the great hall.- Maya will hear about what happened in Rim Elm. She'll get sad and leave. Speak with people. (You should talk to "Master Teacher"). After that Zopu will have entered the room. Speak with him. He'll ask if you were supposed to take Maya back to Rim Elm. Say "Yes". Then he'll ask if you are planning to revive the Genesis Trees north of the monastery as well. Say "Yes". Zopu will ask which forest you will go first to. Whatever you answer you'll always go to West Voz Forest. Zopu will order Gala to join you in your quest. Songi will go to the other forest (Uh-Oh) After this you'll end up in the next room

Page 9: Legend of Legai Game Guide

- From here Gala will join the party (how odd that a "Master Teacher" starts the game at level 1. Gives me something to think on the fighting levels of these monks). Go up the stairs, exit north- Take one of the middle exists south- Stairs up, then the west stairs and exit through the door.- Use the switch. The south door will close the fans will stop the north door will open, and the mist will come in. Go north, follow the road and exit north

Okay... Next dungeon please :)

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| West Voz Forest | IDXC008 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 8 | Noa 7 | Gala 2 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Serus: (D) Nighto, (L) Vera |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Follow the path north. Go west at the fork and you'll find the place |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+- Follow the path until you come at at a T-crossing. Go west there. Exit west

- = Follow the path to the west = Around the corner north = There are some "Plant tunnels", the first one west to exit west

- Take Fertilizer out of the chest on the right and exit east

- Go north, exit north

- Follow the way north until the road is blocked by a small river. Examine the small plant here. When you got the fertilizer you can make it grow over the river. Cross the river over the platnt and exit north

- = Follow the way north. = At the end go west. = Around the corner south = Save the game = Go west = At the end you find the Genesis Tree (too bad, it's dead) You still get get a Ra-Seru egg from it. (You can equip it, but keep in mind that you will lose that egg in the next dungeon since it contains the Ra-Seru Ozma who will link itself to Gala in the next dungeon. When you get the Ra-Seru something happens = Go back east = First way south = Exit south

- Go south (over the bridge grass) and exit south

- Follow the way south At the end go east, and exit east

- Go east, first way south, follow the road until you're back on the world map.

Go back to the Monastery.

Page 10: Legend of Legai Game Guide

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Biron Monastery - Mist | IDXC009 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 8 | Noa 8 | Gala 5 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Serus: (T) Theeder lv2, (F) Gimard lv2 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+Upon arrival here, you'll discover that the entire monastery has been engulfed in the mist.

- Go south, exit south- Gala will temporarily leave the party. Go down the stairs Take the right door- Take the right door north- Here you'll meet Maya but not in such a good state, I'm afraid. There is nothing you can do for her now though. There's a letter on the floor. Read it. After that exit south- Exit through the middle door north- You'll meet Zopu. He tells you how the monastery got in the mist. You can learn a few new fighting techniques here, and you can talk to the woman to the table in order to eat (which recovers HP and MP). And I suggest to save the game. Exit south- Take one of the middle exits south- Go op the stairs then take the stairs on the right. Exit north- Go north and Gala will come and rejoin the party. (Answer his questions with "yes") Now follow the corridor and exit north at the end

Go to East Voz Forest

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| West Voz Forest | IDXC00A |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 8 | Noa 8 | Gala 5 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Serus: (I) Gizam, (D) Nighto |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| All the way north when you exitted the monastery from the north-east |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+- Gala will make a request concerning Songi. Vahn and Noa will accept that request. = After that follow the path until it's blocked by some plants = Go east into the "plant tunnel" = At the end go north = Take the first way east = Exit east

- Follow the path and open the chest to get a Weed Hammer. With it you can destroy the plants blocking the path. You can start by the ones south to get a magic leaf :) Go back to the previous location

- Go north, exit north

- Go north. Destroy the plants in your way and keep going north. Exit north

- Go north and take the last way east Destroy plants on your path and exit north

Page 11: Legend of Legai Game Guide

- Follow the path and save your game. Go north after that to find the Genesis Tree. When you try to revive it Songi will appear and summon some strong Serus for you to beat. Just be sure to keep your HP up while taking them on. (The chance you'll absorb them is next to nothing, though I suppose it IS possible). After the fight revive the Genisis Tree. After this the Ra-Seru egg will hatch and Ozma will come out. Surprisingly easily does Gala allow himself to be linked to it.

And with that this mission is over and you automaticly end up in Zopu'soffice at the monastery. I suggest to take a rest and then you canexit the monastery by the north-west exit to head for the first Mist Generator.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Mist Generator 1: Zet's Dungeon | IDXC00B |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 10 | Noa 10 | Gala 8 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Serus: (F) Gimard Lv2, (F) Zenoir, (T) Theeder lv2, (D) Nighto, || (L) Vera lv2 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Exit Biron Monastery from the north east, and follow the path east |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+- Enter the castle

- Exit north

- = Go East = At the end south = When you come down the stairs open the chest you see to obtain the Thunder Book I (use it on Gala) = From there go into the west path = Go up the stairs and take the path west = Around the corner south = Around the corner east = Go south = Go east = Go up the stairs = Go east = Around the corner south = Around the corner east = At the end go south = Step in the elevator

NOW YOU COME IN A SECTION THAT CONTAINS VERA. VERA IS ONE OF THE MOSTIMPORTANT SERUS TO GET. THIS WILL BE THE FINAL CHANCE TO ABSORB ONE, AFTERTHIS SECTION YOU CAN FIND NO MORE OF THEM UNTIL THE FINAL DUNGEON!!!

- Save your game and exit south

- = Follow the corridor = At the T-Cross go south (east = treasure) = Around the corner west = At the end around the corner north = Around the corner west = At the T-Cross south = First way east = Around the corner south

Page 12: Legend of Legai Game Guide

= Exit south

- Follow the corridor and save at the savespot. Go west and encounter Songi._________| Boss 2 \+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Songi (1) |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Gala 9 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Difficulty: Medium |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Preperations: Gala should have the Seru Vera |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Gala has to fight alone. You should have your first Hyper Art for Gala || already and Songi is the perfect enemy to try it out on. Most of Songi's || attacks are not that strong, but sometimes he comes with Hyper Wave, and || that move does 250+ damage. So always keep you HP above that number. || as long as you stay alert to that you should win this battle with no || serious trouble. |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+ I suggest to save the game after the fight and head west. Exit north at the end

- Enter the elevator

The mission in Sol can be divided in three parts.

Here's the short version of those four parts

Part 1: Reach the Biron Temple at the top level of Sol. Get the Genesis sprout from the Biron leader there. Fight the first boss (there are 2 in this mission)

Part 2: There are 8 Sage's chest in the lower levels of Sol (The levels engulfed in the mist). At first the chests contain a treasure. After that you can put a Soru Bread into the chest. When all chests have a Soru Bread you can proceed to the lowest level in order to unlock the cellar of Sol and receive a message from a man known as Dr. Usha.

Part 3: Go into the cellar of Sol. At the end of that solve the puzzle to reach the center. There you'll meet the second boss (who is very hard) and after that revive the Genesis Tree.

Part 4: Is just a tiny part without any monsters or anything since the mist is then gone. You gotta seek out the emperor of Sol who'll tell you about Dr. Usha and give you a password to enter his lab.

That was the short version. Now with the long version: :)

(It heals all party members though so it || could come in handy). |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Part 2: First of all you need 8 Soru Breads. There are two ways known to me to get them. You can buy them at the Bakery, but they cost 6000 gold each (and that for bread). You can also win them in serveral games. Buying at the Bakery is the easiest way, though it costs time. As I said you need to seek out all sage's chests and feed them with Soru Bread. Here goes: - Go down until you are in the mist. - Go down, second doorway (first is an unfunctional elevator) - In the east section is a Sage's Chest. Open it to get a Magic Water. Then examine it again to give it a Soru Bread. Go west and exit downstairs - Directly east of the stairs is another Sage's Chest. (#2) Open it to get a Guardian Water. After that feed it with a Soru Bread Go east and exit downstairs - West of the stairs is the Sage's Chest (#3) Open it to get Life Water. After that feed it with the Soru Bread Exit south - Go up the stairs third doorway (1st = Exit of Sol, 2nd = Elevator) (If there's a human pocessed by a seru in front of it, you got the right door) - Exit downstairs - Close to the Seru moster is another Sage's Chest (#4) Open it to get a Healing Berry. After that feed it a Soru Bread. Exit upstairs - Go east, open the Sage's Chest next to the stairway. (#5) for a Power Water. Then Feed it with a Soru Bread Exit upstairs - Open the sage's chest behind the bar (#6) for a Wisdom Water. Put a Seru bread in it and exit south - Go down, and exit through the door with the sword haning in front of it.

Page 26: Legend of Legai Game Guide

- Open the Sage's Chest (#7) in front of the counter to get a Swift Water. Then put a Soru Bread into the chest. Exit upstairs - Open the Sage's Chest (#8) on the table west to get a Wonder Elixir. Put a Soru bread in the chest. Now you should have had all Chests. A small Earthquake will indicate that. Exit downstairs - Exit south - Go all the way down until the way is blocked by a statue. (You could if you want go up to rest first) Exit through the doorway most close to the statue. - Examine the strange terminal the statue that blocked the way will be removed and you'll get a message that was recoreded here before by Dr. Usha. Exit south - Go down and exit down, to start with part 3.

Part 3: - Go down and exit through the doorway at the end - = Go east and you'll get in a library (You can search the shelves to find Mary's Diary. You can give it to one of the Biron Monks on the top level to learn new Arts) = Go south = Around the corner west = Exit west - Exit north - Exit north - Save the game and go east, exit downstairs - You've reached the warrior's square. In order to revive the Genesis Tree you must remove the barrier in the center and go there yourself. The puzzle looks more complicated than it really is. So let's do it. = Use the switch and the first part of the barrier is removed. = Go east = Use the purple switch = Go south (the electric barries goes back on) = Go down the stairs = Use the purple switch = Go north then west = Use the Cyan switch and go back east then south = Around the conrer west = Go through the Cyan barrier (which goes back on) = Go down the stairs = Go west = Go up the stairs = Go north = Use the blue switch and go south = Go through the blue barrier = Use the yellow and red switch = Go east through the yellow barrier = Go down the stairs = Go up the stairs west = Go up the other stairs = Go through the red barrier north = Use the red and white switch = Go south = Go through the red and white barrier = Follow the road and use the big switch = Go north-east = Use the green switch = Go through the green barrier = Go west

Part 4: From the Warrior Square go up until you find the first inn. Enter that inn, and go downstairs. Here you'll find Emperor Etora. Talk to him. Say "Yes" when he asks if you are Vahn. The Emperor will give you a key combination. You'd do well to remember it, as it's the password to Usha's Lab, which is the next location you have to go to. When that's done you have done all you can here. You can now leave Sol. (I suggest you go to the weapon shop that was in the mist before. They do have better weapons and stuff there, and resting also doesn't hurt, since the only other city you can reach now (Buma) is completely covered in the mist and it'll take awhile before you can remove it.

Inside there's only a corridor and at the end of it oneof your party members will fall asleep and have a dream. These dreams arejust something you gotta watch. In Vahn's dream there are a few things you gotta do (leaving the house twice) the other two are completely automated.

You may see some images of Tieg appear after some dreams but they are notof any value as long as you didn't take on all three entrances.

After you've seen all 3 dreams the images of Tieg will be complete. You can speak to them in random order, but best is to start with the onesouth-west (7 o' clock) and proceed clock-wise. The one at south (6 o'clock)should always be taken last. When you talk to the last image of Tieg you'llreceive the Fire Droplet.

When you try to leave Uru Mais something terrible will happen. It won'tresult into a battle though. After the event you'll also meet Cara. She wantsyou to revive the Genesis Trees in Buma. For the rest nothing important.Return to Usha's Research Center.

This dungeon contains 4 levels. The first 3 levels end with a giantteleporter in which you proceed to the next level. The subteleporters warpyou around within the dungeon.

Now before you begin THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. You'll notice that every 10seconds the dungeon will become "wild" and turn to normal again after a few seconds. It's very important NOT TO STEP INTO ANY TELEPORTERS WHEN THISHAPPENS, as you will come to places you don't want to be. (mostly the startof the level). If this happens on a moment I tell you to step in a teleporterwait until the level turns back to normal.

One last note. You may not see mist here, but in spite of that, the only typeof enemies you'll find here are Serus. Not that you likely to find Serus youneed (Vera, Spoon and Orb are in my opinion the only useful ones), still youcan collect stuff here. But since you cannot get out and cannot rest, thisis not the place for hunting, and especially not for levelling up!!!

It starts with a lots of thanks from the king and you get your Nemesis Gem asreward. After that go through the north-west door. And from that through theblue door, make your way up and you'll meet the queen. Noa's mother (yet, she doesn't know that since this is still the past). She'll give you Minea'sring. It ups your max HP greatly. Give it to Noa (I'm serious. Against theboss after the next boss, she's dead meat if she doesn't have that ring).

Now go back down to the throne room. Now I suggest to go into town firstto rest (as this is the only chance to do so at this moment). After that go to the throne room and go through thenorth-east door to return to the present

When you leave the room you'll automaticly talk to the queen again. She'llexplain what happened after you left the past until the mist took over theworld. After that head all the way south to leave this horrible place.(really it gives me the creeps).

- Upon arrival you'll automaticly open the door with the Nemisis Gem. (If that doesn't happen you haven't completed the sections in Conkram). After that enter the cave

- Head all the way north. Save your game and head north, exit north

- Keep going north until you see a "Lake of Mist". You can already see what's in that lake, doncha? If not you'll find out soon. Go west and follow the path, and take the first exit north

- Follow the corridor and exit south at the end

- Now you'll see the "Lake of Mist" from above (and discover what's in there if you didn't already find out. You'll automaticly advance to the next room.

- Follow the road. The first north door has a Golden Claw for Noa. If you got that follow the corridor again and exit north at the end

You have reached the Mist Generator. Only arts can hurt him this way. Doing a lot of arts attacks || will break the shield, but it'll break after a lot of turns. || || When it comes to what Cort can do, you should be afraid. His favorite || move is Guilty Cross. 1000+ damage on one person. That is not really the || move to watch out for. He can also do Mystic Circle. 1000+ on the entire || party. That is also not the move to be afraid for. The move to watch out || for is Evil Seru Magic in which he summons Juggernaut into the fight and || that is good for 2000+ damage on the entire party. If Noa doesn't have || Minea's ring she's DEAD! (unless you did make her spirit coincidently). || Your male characters may have trouble surviving that, as well. If they |

Page 40: Legend of Legai Game Guide

| are not at full HP the chance that they survive is next to nothing. Now || Cort doesn't use that spell often, but the chance the he uses it at least || once in the battle is great, and since he doesn't have to charge up for || that you never know when he's gonna do it. Cut short you MUST keep your || characters at full HP at all costs, and you may not be satisfied with || anything less. || || Cort does not have extemely much HP, but due to his shield this fight || take very long. Once his shield is broken you can attack him in any way || you could in previous battles. I don't know if it's possible he'll create || a new shield, but to me it never happened. I do have the hunch that Cort || gets more agressive once the shield is broken. But that's a hunch, not || really based on cold hard facts. || || When it comes to summoning a shield he'll always act first. For all || other moves he's pretty much of a slowpoke. He may only act faster than || Gala, and even that is ocasional. That gives you the time to prepare || against Evil Seru Magic, and I suggest you make use of that!!! |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+After this battle the Mist Generator will be destroyed. The fortress is about to colapse and you only have 50 seconds to getout of here. The only way in which that's possible is by using a Door ofLight.

This ends this mission. Another meeting with Cara (who always appears topop up at these kinds of situations. Don't you discover a pattern here?)After she leaves its not all over.

To to Conkram to make one last discovery. This this part of the game is fully over and you'll automaticly end upin Rim Elm.

Now a long automated sequence will take place. And what Songi does...Well see for yourself what happens. It ain't pretty.(Ok, I know, Songi always was up to no good, but this time he really doessomething extremely bad, and your heroes weren't protected by Ra-Seru thiswould have been the end of the road).

Right now you cannot do anything about Songi's stunt. Songi seals everythingoff, perfectly. Before this seal can be broken we gotta go to Seru-Kai.

Quickest way to get out is a door of light.

Now make your last preperations. Buy everything you need in stores(Healing Berries, Magic Fruit and Phoenixes in particular)

and head back to Rim Elm to take on the Final Mission.Juggernaut.

Prepare well. This is the final mission, and a longone at that. Once you enter you can back out, but there are no recovery points in the dungeon, so if you do get too short on things the only wayof getting a rest is using a Door of Light, go to a town and start over.

If you have missed some Serus on the way to get this far in the game. All Serus can be found here. And the only place where to find serus is heresince the rest of the world is freed from the mist and all that comes withthat.

The best equipment can also be found in this place. I'll make note of itwhen you can find it.

If you are sure you are fully prepared then let's get started.

- Walk up Juggernaut's body (there'll be an event in which Vahn is troubled. Can't blame him, the game will wait until you press a key). Exit up

- Up furhter up, exit up

- Walk up towards Juggernaut's head. Exit north

- Go to Juggernaut's head and the party will automaticly remove Songi's seal. Enter Juggernaut by hopping into its mouth

- Jump your way down and exit north-east

- Go down the stairs and exit west at the end

- Hop your way down, and exit north

- Go down the stairs and exit south

- Hop your way down and exit north-west

- Go down the stairs and exit east

- Hop your way down and exit north

- = Go north = First way east = Get the Ra-Seru Armor out of the chest. Best Armor for Vahn. = Go back west = Go north = At the end go west

= Get the Ra-Seru Robe out of the chest. Best Armor for Noa. = Go back east all the way = Go south at the very end = Follow the road = Open the chest you come pass halfaway to get the Ra-Seru Plate. Best Armor for Gala. = Go east = Exit east

- Go east, exit east

- Follow the "corridor" and exit north at the end

- Jump into the stream. you can get out at the north side by keeping the up-directional button pressed. Exit north

- Follow the "corridor" and exit north

- = Follow the way and take the first sideway south = Jump into the stream and keep the down button pressed to get out at the first "exit" = Open the chest for a Ra-Seru seal. Best headgear for Vahn. = Jump back in the stream. You'll get out of it automaticly = South, first way east = Follow the road and jump into the stream east = Keep the right button pressed until you're out of the stream = Open teh chest for a Ra-Seru Helmet. Best headgear for Gala. (Looks silly) = Jump back into the stream and you'll get out automaticly = From here go back to the place where you jumped into the stream berfore and jump into the stream again = Keep the left direction button pressed until your out of the stream = Open the chest for Ra-Seru Plume. Best headgear for Noa. (Looks cute) = Jump back into the stream and you'll get out automaticlty = Go east and follow the path and ignore all sideways. = Save your game = Exit west

- You can hop onto the "blobs" and they'll create a path. They'll disappear behind you, but will reappear when you go back. = Go west - all the way = Open the chest beside Maya to get the Ra-Seru Boots. Best foorwear for Vahn. = Go north = Around the corner east = Talk to Mei. She'll give you a pendant. Equipping it will increase your Max HP greatly. = Go north = Go west = Open the chest beside Nene to get the Ra-Seru Shoes. Best footwear for Noa = Go back east = At the end go north = When you are at the platform with the elder keep going north = At the next platform keep go west = Around the corner north = Exit north (I hear you think that Vahn and Noa got their best footwear, while Gala hasn't. That is correct. Gala's footwear can be found elsewhere in this dungeon).

Page 44: Legend of Legai Game Guide

- Go north and follow the road. Halfaway the road you'll find a chest with the Ra-Seru Thongs. Best footwear for Gala. (See, I didn't forget about those). Go west, and exit north-west

- This and the next room are a pretty hard part to describe in a FAQ, but I'll give it my best shot. = Follow the path and exit east at the end (so far the easy work)

- = Follow the path till the fork = At the fork go east = Open the chest for a Ra-Seru Club. Best weapon for Noa. = Go back to the fork (west) = Go south = At the next fork, go west = Open the chest for the Ra-Seru Blade. Best weapon for Vahn. = Go back to the fork = Go west = Exit west

- = Make your way down = Jump onto both "blobs" (once the first is press you have only 2 seconds to press the other). = When the door is open save your game (this is the last chance to save) = Make sure everybody is at full HP and MP and exit north

- Go north exit north

Now a sequence will take place and at the end you're gonna fight the final boss._______________________| Boss 17 - Final Boss \+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru Cort |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Vahn 38 | Noa 38 | Gala 38 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Difficulty: Mediun but with a deadly move |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| On many forums this boss is called a pushover. That does not entirely do || him justice. But I gotta admit that in most of the fight he will not || cause serious trouble. But he has a few deadly moves, so caution is || required. || || Normal attacks can come up to 2000+. So having a lot of HP is recommended || if you have Mei's Pendant and Minea's pendant, I suggest you equip them || both. Look well who needs them most. Normal attacks are what Cort relies || on most. He has two super moves. For one he got to charge with Ultra || Charge. That is the move "Final Crisis". That move easily deals 2200+ and || unless your levels are insanely high it's not likely you'll survive that. || If you let everybody spirit the damage can be reduced between 1300+ and || 1500+ which is still a lot of damage. (Damage on the entire party). The || other supermove is "Doomsday" that move requires no charging and can do || almost as much as Final Crisis. || |

Page 45: Legend of Legai Game Guide

| Cort is pretty slow so that makes it easier to plan your turns carefully. || || Basically the key to victory is to make sure all chararacters are at full || HP. The "Spoon" Seru can be handy in that and the item Healing Berry. || || If you want the cheesy method. If you have the Point Card with a lot of || points on it. Keep using it until it deals less than 9999 damage. I know || this will leave you an empty Point Card, but hey this is the final battle || So after this battle you got no more use for and when you got a lot of || points on it (I got about 30,000+) this battle will be significantly || shorter. |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+After this battle the main part of the game is over. There's still a small Epilogue before the game is over. But the fighting is done. After the sequence that follows you'll end up in Rim Elm

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Rim Elm - Epilogue | IDXC018 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+I don't have much to note here. Rim Elm is fixing the damage done by Songi'sstunt. The most important people you've met during your quest will be gathered here. Like Luctes and Dr. Usha. Basically the end of the story ismost the same, but a few little details can differ on what you do here.To get most out of the ending I suggest you talk to everybody you can findhere. (The details on the ending are also dependant on what you say to Ushawhen the epilogue starts).

When you've spoken to everybody, go to the north gate and speak with the Elder. He'll ask you an important question about Noa. Answer whatever you think isthe right answer. After that the Elder will ask if you are truely going toleave Rim Elm. When you say "Yes" twice the game will end.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE JUST COMPLETED THE LEGEND OF LEGAIA!

After the credits the game will show you some nice data to see how wellyou did. How many Serus you absorbed, how many treasures you got, how manytimes you died, and more stuff.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Seru List | IDXD000 |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+I'm not going into detail on how to defeat Seru enemies. This is only a listof where to find Serus for when you want your list complete. Please note thatSeru monters are ONLY available when the specific location is engulfed in themist. (Exception for Seru Kai, Rogue's Tower and the final dungeon, maybe). When there's no mist yet, or when the mist has been cleared there willbe no Seru monsters available (sometimes even no monsters at all).

Serus can be encountered in 3 levels. Absorbing them will always result ingetting the level 1 version of them. All serus can be encountered in level 3form in the final dungeon, so I won't note those as that's senseless.

AND NEVER FORGET TO TELL ME WHICH FAQ OF MINE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!I get a lot of mails in which I must guess which FAQ it is we're talking about, and since I'm very busy as a contributor for GameFAQs, and ocasionallyother sites, I have quite a lot of FAQs here. So it will help me a lot whenI know which FAQ/Game it is you're talking about. :)

And one last thing. Below are remarks I got a lot about my FAQs. Some arefunny, and some are just plainly too stupid for words. I don't want to bean arrogant bastard or anything, but some of them tire me a lot.So here are those mails with my standard replies:

M: Fix your English A: Some people say they hardly hear the diffrence between me and an English speaking fellow. Others say it sucks. Well, I honestly don't care in which category you are. English is NOT my first language. If I spoke my own language you probably couldn't read my FAQs at all.

M: You suck in levelling up A: I know. I'm a real RPG player. I don't waste my time hours of levelling up. In my vision that's a sort of cheating. If I wanted to do that, I'd buy a gameshark. That works a lot faster. No offense to those who do believe in that.

M: HEY IDIOT! FIX YOUR FAQ! A: Anyone who sends mail like this won't receive a reply. In fact they will be banned from ever mailing me again. I can understand you do not agree with my technique. There are as many as there are people. I can also agree you detected that I made a mistake. Well, I'm human you know. Making mistakes is part of my nature, as much as it's yours. If you detect errors in my FAQ you can tell me about it in a civil way, and I'll fix it if I agree with you.

M: I took on the bosses you brant HARD on much lower levels with no problem at all. A: Good for you.

M: Are you a man? A woman? How old are you? Where do you live? A: I really got that kind of mails a lot. I don't mind that you know. I was quite amused by such mails actually. Well, my name is Jeroen Broks. I'm not going to give my private adres in this FAQ or anywhere else on the internet, but you may know that I live in the Netherlands, I am a man, and I was born in 1975. So on the moment I started on this version of this FAQ I was 31 years old.

M: Fsdasdadasf afsdfasd afdfsaf A: Whatever you say I don't understand it. If you mail me, please only do so in either English or Dutch or if you really need in German. (Be perpared that if you speak German to me, you might get an answer in English, tough). I don't speak any other language.

M: May I translate your FAQ into another language? A: If you ask my permission, mostly no problem

M: Why is Neoseeker banned from hosting your FAQs?

Page 49: Legend of Legai Game Guide

A: That's something between me and Neoseeker. I don't find it necesary to go into detail about that. I noted it in my FAQs to make sure they will never pop up there unnoticed. So don't mail me about it cause I won't answer. I got very good reasons for it. That's all you need to know.

M: You know NOTHING about this game or RPG in general? A: That I know nothing about RPG in general is something you can't say. I spend 80% of my free time in RPG (which is quite a lot, trust me), and I even develop them myself for a hobby. And about this game, trust me when I say that all games I wrote a FAQ about have been played multiple times from start to finish, and after I completed the FAQ the game is played over and over again and again, so I can upgrade the FAQ if I find something new, to make sure my FAQs offer the best you can get. All games I wrote FAQs about are games I'm very devoted to. No exceptions. If I am not sure I know the game, I won't write a FAQ on it.

And so far this FAQ. I hope you have good use for it!
