The bricks that still click

ʻThe bricks that still clickʼ is a campaign to reaffirm Lego as

the no.1 construction toy while reminding parents of the fun to

be had with Lego.

You can also view these boards through an interactive website. Please open the index file in the ʻwebsiteʼ folder. 1

How the campaign will work

The campaign targets parents using strong symbols to remind them of their own experience with Lego.

This will encourage them to hand down their own lego to their children or purchase it

to give their child the very best building experience.

I have used stickers so that parents and gift buyers can identify Lego products

with ease.By reminding adults of their experience

with Lego, they are more likely to purchase it for their children which is why I used the slogan ʻthe bricks still

clickʼ as Lego is still the best construction toy on the market.

StickersThe paper bags are another way of

getting adults to reminisce about their past when paper bags were used

instead of plastic ones. With Lego withstanding the test of time,

it is the original building brick and should be passed down to future

generations.

Paper bagsI have used simple illustrations which I

have selectively chosen to encapsulates the Lego brand.

This again is used to remind people that Lego is the original construction toy and

if you want your children to have the best building experience you will

choose Lego.

Window Displays

I created these mock up window displays to show how my illustrations would look on the windows of Lego stores to make people aware of the

campaign. These vinyl stickers could also be

applied to other toy stores such as Toysʼrʼus.

These are 3 colour screen printed t-shirts I created for the

ʻbricks that still clickʼ campaign. These could be worn by lego staff

members along with the name badges you can see to the right.

The t-shirts could also be available to purchase in store as well as given away

as competition prizes.
