Children will learn new British sports including rugby, cricket

and more! Children will develop some new skills with team-

building activities that include more than just running, jumping,

catching, kicking and throwing! They will also learn about

respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership,

while playing hard, having fun and making new friends. Each

camper will receive a special British Sports Camp T-Shirt.

Tee-BallThe registration deadline for Tee-Ball has passed. Space

permitting, your child may be able to participate. Don’t delay,

register at the Parks & Recreation offi ce today!

Let the action begin as you head to the

tee-ball fi eld with your child. This popular

program introduces 4-6 year olds to baseball,

one of America’s favorite sporting events.

Kids will learn the fundamentals of catching,

throwing, hitting, teamwork, sportsmanship

and, most importantly, FUN. Practices start

late April and Saturday games start on May

3 at Sunnyside Park. The season concludes

with a picnic at Sunnyside Park following

the last game. Participants will be placed on teams by schools

when possible. If your child does not yet attend school or is

home schooled, please indicate your nearest elementary school.

Participants will be provided a team t-shirt. Please indicate

your child’s shirt size on the registration form.

Get in on the action of the popular Spring Soccer program. Boys and girls are divided into different age divisions. Practices start

British Soccer CampChallenger Sports British Soccer Camps is the most popular

soccer camp in the country. Over 1,000 Challenger coaches

each year have helped the company develop one of the most

innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the U.S.

Their experienced staff study the game at all levels and have

identifi ed the key techniques and skills that players need to

work on and master to reach their true potential.

potential risks inherent with participating in any recreation activity, and that the City of Mt. Pleasant does not provide accident insurance. I/we assume all risks

and hazards incidental to such participation, including transportation to and from the activities, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree

to hold harmless Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation, its offi cers, staff, and their agents for all claims, injuries, liabilities, damages or right of action directly or

indirectly arising out of use of Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation facilities, equipment and/or participation in Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation activities. In

the event of an emergency, I authorize Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation staff to obtain medical treatment for the above-named participants. I/we also waive

any rights/damages that may occur in result of photographs/videos of the events/activities offered through this department. All classes and activities cancelled

by Mt. Pleasant Parks & Recreation before the start of a program will be refunded in full. Participants requesting a refund before the start of a program are

entitled to a refund less an $8 service fee. No refunds are available once a program has begun, unless injury occurs. As a Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation
