Senior Show Designer/Show Producer Landmark Entertainment Group, 2007-2008 Led the creave concept development and show design teams for numerous Landmark projects throughout the world; providing conceptual and arsc direcon, wrien creave treatments, and polished client presentaons while contribung in numerous other disciplines including scriptwring, master-planning of parks and aracons, media producon and post-producon, and on-site working sessions with both clients and vendors. Responsibilies included coordinang the efforts of mulple simultaneous project teams, assimilaon and melding of disparate ideas and concepts to produce a cohesive final design, and extensive interface with execuves and developers to ensure the project would meet business objecves and brand expectaons. Projects ranged from theme parks, resorts, and retail developments to museums and zoological parks. Lead Arst/Crew Foreman (Expedion Everest) Dark Horse Entertainment, 2005 Interfaced directly with Walt Disney Imagineering art directors and designers to translate creave concepts and renderings into full-scale themed environments throughout the Expedion Everest aracon at Disney’s Animal Kingdom while direcng/overseeing a large crew of arsts to execute the project ulizing all manner of theming techniques. Project Producer/Creave Lead Entertainment Technology Center, 2005-2007 Provided creave direcon and project management for numerous simultaneous projects in a creave “think tank” style environment charged with delivering tangible prototypes and final working installaons of technology-based interacve experiences. Project highlights included a revoluonary new interacve fountain system for Thinkwell Design & Producon, mulple interacve aracons for the World’s Fair for Kids, and interacve exhibits for museums and science centers. My roots are in the theatre and I have personally designed scenery and/or lighng for more than 60 theatrical projects; in most cases, directly supervising the fabricaon and implementaon of those designs. Most recently I shaped the creave vision for the 16th & 17th Annual Thea Awards for the Themed Entertainment Associaon, overseeing both the design and direcon of the elaborate gala. Director of Themed Entertainment RGH/Rubicon Group Holding Hired by Rubicon Group Holding to found and grow the themed entertainment division of the company while overseeing the creave concepon and development of current projects and traveling the world pursuing and culvang new opportunies. The RGH team quickly grew from 1 to nearly 100 employees to conceive, design, and execute the Red Sea Astrarium; a $2 billion entertainment desnaon in the Kingdom of Jordan. Every aspect of the project routed through my office. Other responsibilies included the preparaon and presentaon of concepts and designs for all RGH projects to investors, government officials/royalty, and potenal clients throughout the world. Also produced, directed, and designed the 16th and 17th annual Thea Awards and contributed to the Themed Entertainment Associaon’s annual SATE conference while serving as a member of the TEA’s Western Board of Directors for over six years.
