Summer Lunch Outreach

Parish volunteers are needed to assist in putting to-

gether approximately 30 sack lunches Monday-Thursday,

June 24 - 27th 8:35 - 9:35 am in the parish hall at Saint

Patrick Church, Lodi. The lunches will be distributed to

at-risk children attending the Lodi Schools Summer

Program. In addition to putting the sack lunches

together, we'll be donating a supply of nutritious food for

the weekend to follow. Coordinating our parish effort is

Marva Hahn.

Parish Festival

Sunday, August 25th

Children’s Game Prizes The Festival Prize Committee is

looking for Children’s prizes for this years’ event. Are you

a good shopper? Do you find great deals on kids’ favor-

ites? If you have the time and would like to donate prizes

for this year's Festival, you can drop them off by Mary in

the Parish Office. The Prize Committee is open to ideas

as far as gifts for ages 2-12, both boys and girls.

Festival Silent Auction and Small Chance Drawing

Donations to support our Festival Silent Auction and

Small Chance Drawing are needed. Whether putting

together a theme basket of goodies, giving a unique

one-of-a-kind item, or providing an item or two to go with

other donations to create a much sought after package,

your contribution will be much appreciated. Donations

may be brought to the parish center (Lodi) anytime but

no later than August 15

th

so we can begin taking bids

and selling chances a week before the Festival. Some

suggestions for theme baskets: Grilling out with Dad,

Wisconsin Wonders, Family Fun Night, A Taste of Lodi,

Bath and Body, Dinner by Candlelight, Wine & Cheese,

as well as sports or hobby related baskets, let your I

magination and creativity soar! Items for all ages are

needed. Donations of baskets, buckets, boxes, and bins

would also be much appreciated along with ribbon and

bows to help put everything together. If you’d like to be

part of the Auction/Chance Committee, please contact

offering some fun drawings! Stop by our Festival

Information Table after any weekend Mass this

summer (June 15 - August 11) at either parish

church to purchase a chance on these great

packages:

*2019 Festival Dinner Table for Eight – Small

chance drawing - Winner receives a reserved

table for 8 in the dining hall for one hour at the

time of your choice with 8 Swiss Steak & Ham

dinner tickets.

*Food & Fun Festival Tickets – Correctly guess

the number of tickets in the jar – Winner receives

the tickets for use for 2019 Festival Food and Fun

Activities (refreshment tent food, soda, water, sno

-cones, popcorn, children’s games, and inflatable

fun).

*Festival Cash – Correctly guess the amount of

money in the jar – Winner receives the money.

*Sweet Treats – Correctly guess the number of

candy pieces in the jar – Winner receives the

candy and a $25 gift certificate for the Festival

Country Market.

Requirements: Winnings cannot be exchanged

for cash and may only be used for the 2019

Blessed Trinity Parish End-of-Summer Festival.

Each chance purchased gives you one guess for a

“how many…?” jar or one entry into the dinner

table for eight drawing. In the event of more than

one correct answer for the guessing jars, all en-

tries with the correct amount will be put in a draw-

ing with one winner selected for each of the jars.

Chances: 1 for $1 or 6 for $5. These chance

drawings close August 11th with the winners

announced following the Holy Day Mass at Saint

Patrick Church on August 15th. Four lucky

winners will each take home one of our four

Fabulous Festival Fun packages. You need not be

present to win!

Block Fun Run/Walk

4.9 mile run/walk or 2 mile walk on

Saturday June 29, 2019 starting at

8:30 am at Bert Deans Park in

Dane. Registration is $20 and includes a t-shirt if

registration is postmarked by June 19th. Thereafter

$25 if t-shirt is available or $10 without a t-shirt. For

Free Organ Concerts at Holy Name Heights

The Diocesan Office of Worship is hosting weekly organ

concerts this summer on Thursday nights through the

month of August at 7 pm in the chapel at Holy Name

Heights. No admission fee. A freewill offering will be

taken. Note! On June 20; featuring Michael Mills, a

former student of Blessed Trinity Catholic School,

graduate of Saint Ambrose Academy in Madison and

current organist at Saint Lawrence Catholic Campus

Center at the University of Kansas. Lasts about 1 hour.
