An Invitation to Our February 5 Parent Night
All parents of our parish are invited to the upcoming
Parent Formation Night with Justin Bangert, from the
Center for Christian Counseling, Consultation & Training,
Inc. to be held Wednesday, February 5th in the parish
hall at Saint Patrick Church, Lodi, 6:30 - 7:30 pm. The
evening's topic is Parenting Boundaries with Love, Logic
and the Lord.
Justin will provide a candid discussion about common
challenges all parents face when attempting to raise
children as God intended. With humor, stories and
practical techniques, Justin will invite you to expore
Biblical concepts and research-proven parenting skills
that will help you parent with a focus on connection and
correction, from a place of confidence and love.
A licensed marriage and family therapist, Justin
specializes in Love & Logic based curriculums, internet
& video game addictions, as well as sexual addictions
and prevention therapies. In addition to our February
gathering with Justin, he will also be with us for a
follow-up presentation, "Christian Parenting in a
Technology Driven World, Wednesday March 4, 6:30 pm.
Please note that grade 1 - 5 RE classes do meet in the
afternoon on both of these dates; grade 6 - 9 do not
meet on these dates.
Thursday Morning Adult Study Group
Our Thursday morning adult study and faith sharing
group will resume meeting on Thursday, January 30,
immediately following morning Mass at Saint Patrick,
Lodi. We meet 8:35 - 9:35 am. We will spend four weeks
discussing the book Time for God by Jacques Philippe,
recently distributed parish wide, and the topic of prayer.
Any adult is welcome to join us!

Catholic Schools Week
January 26 - February 1

Schools Week January 26 through February 1.
We will begin Catholic School week with a Pancake
Breakfast on Sunday, January 26 hosted by the
Knights of Columbus. The breakfast will be held at
Saint Patrick in Lodi from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
What Is Scrip?
Scrip fundraising is a no-selling program that enables
families to raise money for Blessed Trinity. Scrip is just
another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift
cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards. For
every gift card purchased, Blessed Trinity earns
immediately. It’s really that simple. With over 700 of
the country’s biggest retailers, including grocery,
department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels,
home improvement, and more, there is sure to be
something on the list for you. Please stop by after
masses in both Lodi, and Dane if you have questions,
to place an order or to purchase limited scrip cards.
Madison Catholic Women’s Club
All women of the diocese are invited to a Luncheon and
annual Baby Shower meeting on Tuesday, February 11
at Saint Bernard Catholic Church, Middleton. Rosary
and Mass begin at 10:40 am, followed by noon lunch-
eon and program. “Our Catholic Schools”, presented by
Madison Diocese Superintendent of Catholic Schools
Michael Lancaster. Guests are encouraged to bring
baby shower gifts to support women facing unplanned
pregnancies and being counseled by Women’s Care
Center and Pregnancy Help Line. Please attached a
note to your gift with the dollar value. Cash and check
donations are also welcome. Send reservations by
check payable to Madison Catholic Women’s Club for
