NEWS & NOTES Traveling Chalice Program In May, the Traveling
Chalice is at Saint Michael.
As part of the Traveling
Chalice Program, each host
family is asked to say a prayer each
day as a family for increased
vocations and for current seminari-
ans in the diocese, and to display
the chalice in an appropriate but
visible place at home. In monthly
rotation, the Traveling Chalice will
return to Saint Thomas and Saint
Patrick. Look for sign-up sheets for,

Memorial Day Mass at Saint Michael Cemetery On Monday, May 29th, Father Scott will cele-brate an outdoor Mass
at Saint Michael Cemetery at 8:00 am. Please bring your lawn chairs. If there is inclement weather, Holy Mass will be celebrated in Saint Michael Church. Kindly remember in your prayers, the men and women who have died in the service of our country. Also, let us remember to pray for the safe return of those who are currently serving to protect our country.

Temporary Secretarial Position Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish is seeking to fill a temporary secretarial posi-
tion. The position will run from June to approximately November, averaging
about 20 to 25 hours per week. Duties include assisting with communica-
tions; organizing various meetings and events; maintenance of records and
files; and production of various reports. Qualified candidates must be com-
puter savvy and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word,
Excel, Access and Publisher), a pleasing and positive personality and excel-
lent communication skills, and should be willing to work a flexible schedule
with some evening and weekend hours required. Qualified candidates should
send a cover letter and/or resume to: Fr. Scott Jablonski at
[email protected] by June 4, 2017. Compensation will be com-
mensurate with experience.
Knights of Columbus - Sunday, May 21st! Chicken Dinner - May 21 - The Knights of Columbus will be
sponsoring their Chicken Dinner on Sunday, May 21st from
11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Parish Hall at Saint Patrick.
Chicken seasoned with peanut oil. 1/2 Chicken $10.00,
includes baked potato, corn, peas, rolls and brownies -
milk, coffee and water are free. “First come, first served!”
Proceeds will fund local Knights of Columbus charities and programs.
Knights Recruitment Fair Weekend - May 20 and 21. If you are interested
in joining the Knights of Columbus, please talk with any of the Knights.
PARISH & COMMUNITY EVENTS Cancelled Postage Stamp Collection We will be sending in our second quarter collection of can-
celled postage stamps on June 1. If you have any stamps to
contribute, please place them in the manila envelope on the
CCW bulletin board at Saint Patrick's or drop off at the parish
office. Please do not attempt to remove the stamps from the
paper envelope; trimming the envelope to a 1/4 or 1/2 inch
border of paper is appreciated but not necessary. Stamps are sent to St.
Mary's, Notre Dame, Indiana where the sisters use the monies raised from
the stamps for their outreach ministries with the poor.
Your contributions of stamps are appreciated.
2017 Blessed Trinity Parish Festival Sunday, August 20th Our “Fall Festival” will now be more of a “late summer
festival” as it is scheduled for Sunday, August 20,
2017. Please save the date on your calendars. We look
forward to continuing to build up our festival with your
help and support! Children’s Game Prizes The Festival Prize Committee is looking for children’s prizes for this years’ event. Are
you a good shopper? Do you find great deals on kids’ favorites? If you have the time and would like to donate prizes for this year's Festival, you can drop them off with Mary in the Parish Office. The Prize Committee is open to ideas as far as gifts for ages 2 - 12, both boys and girls. We are already well stocked up on bubbles, crayons, notebooks, bendable figures, wristbands, stickers, coloring books, stampers, gliders, beads, and matchbox cars. We would love some medium to large type items including nerf toys, frisbees, lunch boxes/bags, novelty glasses with straws and sidewalk chalk, edible chocolate treats, movie-like treats, nail polish, pool toys, squirt guns, princess items. specifically for women in the premenopause transi-

oil, diaper rash ointment, powder), sun-screen, hand
and body lotions, dental products (toothpaste, tooth
brushes, dental cleaner, dental floss).
Household Items: laundry detergent and softener,
dryer sheets, all-purpose cleaners (Comet, Ajax, Mr.
Clean, etc.) dish detergent, dish cloths and dish towels.
Saint Vincent De Paul The Saint Vincent De Paul truck is in the
