Introduction Windows 7, previous version
of the latest version (Windows 8) of Microsoft Windows, was produced for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs, and media center PCs.
Windows 7 was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and reached general retail availability on October 22, 2009.

Libraries Libraries help you
quickly access files and folders located in different places of your computer or network.
Libraries bring files and folders you need to one place, no matter where they are stored.

Multi-Touch If you’ve got a touch-screen
PC, you can easily read online newspapers or manage your files without the need for a mouse.
All you need is your fingers.
For example, in order to zoom in on picture, just put your two fingers on the screen and spread them apart.

Aero Peek Aero Peek lets us
preview the desktop in an X-Ray vision mode.
Using this feature, we can peer past all your open windows straight to the Windows 7 desktop.

Aero Shake You can use Aero Shake to
quickly minimize all open windows except the one you’re shaking.
This feature can save you time if you want to focus on a single window without minimizing all your other open windows one by one.
You can then restore all of those windows by shaking the open window again.

Jump Lists Jump lists give you the
option of viewing a list of recently accessed files by application, even when the application is not open, by right-clicking on the program’s icon in the taskbar.
Jump lists have also been integrated into the Start Menu.

can close any application using its preview window.
We can pause Media Player using its thumbnail.

New Themes Windows 7 offers you
new themes with an Aero desktop experience.
New themes include a set of desktop background pictures sliding over time.

Snapping Snapping is a new way of
resizing open windows. All we need to do is drag
a window to the top, left, or right edge of the screen.
We can resize the window in several ways depending on which side you drag.

Internet Explorer 9 Internet Explorer 9 was
released as the fastest and safest version of all Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers.
After Windows 7 was released, Internet Explorer 9 was introduced to Windows users.

Windows Media Player 12 Windows Media Player
now plays the most popular audio and video formats, including new support for 3GP, AAC, AVCHD, DivX, MOV, and XVid.

Gadgets Gadgets are mini-programs
that come with Windows. In Windows Vista, gadgets
were placed in the sidebar located along the right edge of the screen.
Windows 7 sets gadgets free, and now we can place gadgets anywhere we want on the screen.

Desktop Slideshow The Desktop Slideshow
feature allows the user to change the wallpaper at specified intervals, ranging from 10 seconds to 1 day.
Each Windows 7 theme has its own slideshow, which contains several wallpapers.
We can also create our own desktop slideshow using your own pictures.
