Classroom activities Decorate the Number Provide students with a piece of paper that has a lot of number 2s on it, both numerals and words – some dotted, some in bubble writing, some solid writing. Trace over the dotted ones with different coloured pencils, textas or crayons. Glue collage materials such as paper bits, leaves or wool to the solid writing. Colour in the bubble writing with dots, stripes or shapes. Brainstorm Ask the class to think of things that can come in groups of 2. Write a list and discuss the choices.
