Failure of the

League of Nations

The French and British only looked after their own interests

The League had no army

The league had to enforce the

unfair TOV

The sanctions weren't good

enough

Super powers like the USA

were not in the League

The Decisions were too slow

You need to create an overall assessment of the LON

O You need a diagram that shows all of the success and failures of the LON

O Your Homework task is to write an assessment of the performance of the LON throughout both the 1920s and 1930s

O Remember: a good history answer has an intro, then gives both sides of the argument (balanced) and then a strong conclusion that gives your opinion as to whether it was a success or not and why.
