For many couples, becoming pregnant is well-received good news, but for some pregnancy can be unwelcome and very bad news.

• 1 in 3 women will have an abortion by the age of 45

• Half of women under 18 who get pregnant will have one

• 91% of abortions take place before the woman is twelve weeks pregnant
