(psychomotor): Volley a ball to a partner successfully with accuracy and using correct form. 2. (cognitive): Verbally give all the cues of volleying a ball. 3. (affective): Be attentive to the teachers while observing the demonstration of volleying a ball. Necessary Equipment: -13 poly spots -13 inflated balloons -13 beach balls -7 volley balls -13 plastic bags -open gym space Safety for Lesson: -remind students to spread out in the gym -remind students to stand on their poly spot -remind students to stop what they are doing when they hear “fumble” National Standards: Standard 1: Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities. Standard 2: Demonstrates understanding of movement concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics as they apply to the learning performance of physical activities.

(Time) Instant Activity: (5 min) Students will be assigned partners and each student will be given a plastic bag. The students will stand 10 feet from each other. On the “Go” signal, each student will throw the plastic bag into the air and the students will run to their partners side and try to catch the bag before it hits the ground. Students will then repeat this as many times as they can in a row until the teacher says “fumble.”

(Time) Set Induction: (1 min) Students will be told that today they will be working on volleying a ball using correct form.
