While- Reading (Group activity) - Pupils are divided into 8 groups of three. - Pupils will play a game “running dictation” - Explanation of running dictation game: *Teacher pastes 6 sentences at different place around the hall. Focus: Reading

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:i) Read and understand phrases and sentences from non linear text.

Set Induction Pupils are shown a video of a burglary. Pupils answer some question asked by teacher.Examples: *What do you understand from the video?

Pre-Reading (class activity) Teacher reads and pupils listen. Teacher reads and pupils repeat after teacher.

While- Reading (Group activity) Pupils are divided into 8 groups of three. Pupils will play a game running dictation Explanation of running dictation game:*Teacher pastes 6 sentences at different place around the hall. (the lesson running at *One of the group members will be as writer and the rest of them will be as runner.*The runners will go to the sentences that paste at the different wall and then the runners memorize the sentences. (can be word by word or phrase)*Then, runner back to the writer and dictate.*The writer writes on a mahjong paper.*The process will be repeated until they dictate all the 6 sentences.(This phase is running in 20 minutes)

Post- Reading (Individual) Pupils present their group work. They will read and the other groups will check the pronunciation and the spelling.

Closure(Whole-class) Pupils recite jazz chants.
