    texts. They also produce word cards(max. 5) of the most important newwords, eg. crust, divergent andconvergent tectonic plates, vent,hotspots, dormant, active, extinct,mantle convection.

    Each group puts on the board whatthey have prepared and tells the others

    what theyve found out. They followthe outline they agreed on at the start

    of the lesson. Ss take notes. Teachermonitors, corrects, provides essentialinfo that Ss might have overlooked,explains when necessary.

    One group will be responsible forputting the outline with all the selectedmaterials (texts, photos, diagrams) onthe common LMS the same day.

    6 7 Wholeclass

    T presents multiple choice test at thewebsite and whole class tries toanswer the Qs. They check theiranswers in the answers page. Theyrevise new terms with the word cards.T will put a link on the LMS to themultiple choice test so that Ss can do iton their own before coming to the nextclass. T puts the word cards into the

    box of words, where they collect

    important, new vocabulary items.(Extra material: volcano crosswords)
