Safe t y
Concerns
When children are playing
outdoors there are sev-
eral things that you must
keep in mind. You mustensure that you haveplenty of water in order
to prevent dehydration. There must be a place for
children to sit and an area
with shade for children torest and avoid overheat-
ing. Children and staff
must wear hats and sun-screen in order to protect
yourself from UV rays andavoid getting sunburns.
Finally, you may want to
have a first aid kit onhand just in case someone
is injured they can get
treated immediately.
Let’s Get
Physical!
“True enjoyment
comes from activity
of the mind and
exercise of the body;
when the two areunited then we can
truly enjoy life”.
