Connections

Get to know the LED lights

A. Connect the Internet cable to the red Internet port.Note: You can connect to the Internet through a modem

with the Ethernet cable (included). The cable must be plugged into the red Internet port.

B. Supply power using the included power adapter.

C. Wait for the router’s LED to light white.Note: The router will update the firmware automatically

whenever newer firmware is available. The LED lights will flicker slowly during the firmware update. It may take several minutes.

D. Connect your computer or mobile device to the router with an Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection:• Ethernet: Use an Ethernet cable to connect your

computer to the router.• Wi-Fi: Use the preset Wi-Fi network name (SSID)

and password on the label of the router.

E. Launch a web browser, visit http://dearmyrouter.net. If a login window opens, enter the ID and password. The ID is admin and the default password is nnnn. nnnn is the last of serial number: Refer to the serial number printed on the label of the router.

F. Follow the wizard instructions to set up the Internet connection.
