Let’s Meet in Istanbul, Where the Continents Reach

Dear Health IT Professionals,

We witness important achievements, which may set an example for the rest of the world, in health informatics field as well as all other healthcare fields in a young country with rapid development and adaptation skills such as Turkey. The distance covered by Turkey in terms of HIMSS Turkey EMRAM Educational Conference and Health IT Exhibition and HIMSS EMRAM Criteria, successfully maintained since 2014, brought Turkey to a role model position among regional countries and developing countries. After all, it has become inevitable to make an international event that covers the Asian, European and African countries. As a result, it has been determined that “HIMSS Turkey” shall be upgraded into a wider regional event with the name of “HIMSS Eurasia”.

We would like to share our happiness of “HIMSS Eurasia Health IT Conference and Exhibition” to be held in Istanbul, starting from 2018.

HEALTH IT EXHIBITION

The newest products, services and technologies of the companies operating in the field of health informatics and technologies will meet HIMSS19 Eurasia visitors. Providing visitors with the opportunity to test the works that will make a difference in the provision of health care services, a comprehensive cooperation and sectoral development will be provided through the networks to be established.

HIMSS AWARD CEREMONY

Successful hospitals that providing the standards determined by HIMSS will be presented their awards at the ceremony. Hospital managers, employees and managers of the organizations they cooperate come together. Last year, 164 Stage 6 hospitals and 1 Stage 7 hospital were awarded.

COUNTRYDELEGATIONS

Delegations of the Ministry of Health from 21 countries will be invited for regional cooperation by T.R. Ministry of Health. Last year, 23 countries attended in the event.

HEALTH START-UPS

Training program for start-ups. Angel investors and start-ups come together in this side event, a three-axis study under the leadership of the academy. One part of the study is the Ministry of Health, one part TMMDA and SEDAP and one part industry representatives.

HIMSS CONFERENCE

HIMSS Eurasia Conference to be a stage for local and international speakers and qualified meetings, is composed of the sessions focusing on standards and digitalization in hospitals and the future of health care in the world will be discussed.

DIGITALHOSPITAL

“Digital Hospital” concept, which has been implemented for 2 years in the framework of HIMSS Eurasia, will be held for the third time this year. With the Digital Hospital simulation area, where technologies and requirements are required to be at HIMSS Stage 7, visitors can see the future hospitals and home care technologies closely.

FUTURE HOSPITALS TECHNOLOGIES

The visitors, who will meet with more than 100 companies and thousands of products and Technologies, will be able to follow the green “FHT” sign in the booths and examine the details of the mobile application and get to know the products and services in the future of the hospital technologies.

GLOBAL COUNTRY PAVILIONS

The latest products, services and technologies of companies operating in the field of health informatics and technologies will meet with HIMSS’19 Eurasia visitors. Networks to be established at the fair, which enables visitors to test the works that will make a difference in the provision of health services. Thanks to this, a holistic cooperation and sectoral development will be ensured.

HOSPITAL LEADERS OF THE FUTURE: BEST PRACTICE SAMPLES

Hospital Leaders of the Future will be able to share their experiences on the latest digital applications and technologies and best management practices in their hospitals in dedicated panels. In these sessions, successful managers, especially city hospital managers, Provincial Health Directorates, Stage 7 and Stage 6 hospitals will be able to share their experiences.

FUTURE IN SCIENCE, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND HEALTH

In a period of extraordinary developments in complex information analysis methods, a new future is waiting for us, which breaks all taboos with artificial intelligence. Effective speakers from both domestic and foreign countries will be present in the panels about science and artificial intelligence.

Each country has HIMSS country communities within HIMSS EU. Representatives of these communities attend in HIMSS Eurasia and lead the development of regional health informatics.
