Let’s take childhood back from cancer.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor powered
charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures
for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
ABOUTST. BALDRICK’S
HOW IT STARTEDWhat started as a challenge between three friends in
2000 has grown into the world’s largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research
grants. Since 2005, more than 500,000 have shaved their heads at more than 12,000 events, and more than $253 million has been granted for childhood
cancer research, and this number continues to grow.
AMBASSADORSEvery year, the Foundation selects five Ambassadors to represent the thousands of kids touched by childhood
cancers from many different geographic areas, age groups, disease types and more. These brave kids serve as
a reminder that childhood cancer doesn’t discriminate.
