design brief:

Why Let’s Go?

Develop a mobile application based on sustainability for young parents.

Early insight: parents always need ‘stuff’ to do with their children.

We wanted to build an application with low barriers to entry (ie. not overtly ideological).

We employed a number of research methods in order to better understand the problems and opportunities of this space.

•CompetitorResearch •Survey •FieldResearch •UserInterviews •StakeholderInterviews

how did we chart the course?

We found that physical bulletin boards are major points of outreach for community based non-profits.

However we found that many organizations lackedacoherentwebpresence, andthatthere aren’t reliable aggregators.

Hencewehadtospendalotoftimelookingfor information online.

Weaskedthequestion:whatifwecouldputthe immediacy and bredth of a community bulletin in a mobile application?
